We get to take a look at the Zalman ZM-MH200 U3 dual hard drive dock today. While there are many hard drive docks out there which can take two drives at once, this one actually features onboard RAID capability. Giving you the option to configure two identical drives differently for data redundancy or fast performance.

Packaging

Zalman ships the hard drive dock in a cube shaped cardboard box. A black handle allows you to easily carry it home from the shop or post office. You will find an image of the dock itself on the front of the package, while the other sides go into great detail about the specifications and functionality of the device. This is important as the dock does bear a few interesting surprises.


The dock itself is secured by a thick Styrofpoam spacer, so you should not have to worry about any damage during transportation. Furthermore, the unit itself has been placed into a foam bag to protect it from scratches and the likes.
