System Requirements
Windows 9x is not and will not be supported because of its completely different architecture, and its decline in use.
ATITool will only run on Windows 2000/XP/2003 with or without any Service Pack, DirectX 9 is recommended. ATITool will work on Windows XP 64-bit.
Microsoft Windows Vista support is in the works and in early beta stages (beta 27, 2) . Some users are reporting success. Check the beta forum for latest builds to increase Vista compatibility.
You must install and run ATITool as Administrator. This is by design, an unprivileged user should never be able to crash the system by moving a few sliders. It is possible to run ATITool as Administrator when using Windows’ Run As Feature.

Installing ATITool
Run the downloaded installer and follow its instructions. Make sure you are logged in as an administrator or are running the installer with administrative privileges.
