ZOTAC Technology is announcing a new lineup of enterprise and healthcare-oriented mini PCs designed for specific applications and scalable deployment, as well as a whole new class of external GPU acceleration platforms for Thunderbolt 3-compatible PCs. Aside from the all-new additions, ZOTAC is also refreshing its best-selling performance mini PCs with the newest generations of Intel Core Processors and NVIDIA RTX-enabled GPUs. ZOTAC will debut these rugged, innovative solutions and showcase other AI-ready compute solutions during Hannover Messe 2024, reaffirming ZOTAC's commitment to embrace the AI-driven future.

ZOTAC ZBOX Healthcare Series: Medical AI Solution
With the all-new ZOTAC Healthcare Series, ZOTAC is offering the reputed superior quality and performance of ZOTAC ZBOX Mini PCs to the realm of Healthcare. The ZBOX H39R5000W and ZBOX H37R3500W are equipped with 13th Generation Intel Core i9 or i7 laptop processors, as well as professional-grade NVIDIA RTX Ada Generation laptop GPUs. These mini PCs are ready to power medical imaging, algorithms, and more, with some of the latest and greatest hardware currently available.

Made for Healthcare
Healthcare Series ZBOX models are designed with safety in mind. Its exterior features a rounded-edge design to prevent injuries or other bodily harm, making it suitable for installation in healthcare and clinic settings. These models also comply with the IEC 60601-1 / EN 60601-1 certification, a technical standard that medical electrical equipment and devices must meet to be considered safe and effective.

Top Performer
In addition to featuring top-tier CPU and GPU hardware, the ZBOX H39R5000W and ZBOX H37R3500W have a full suite of I/O ports, including five USB 3.2 ports, a Thunderbolt 4 port, a UHS-II SDHC/SDXC card reader as well as video output for up to four monitors. Coupled with the included VESA-compatible mounting options, the ZBOX H39R5000W and ZBOX H37R3500W open the user up to a diverse range of setups in healthcare environments.

ZBOX PRO External GPU Box AD2000 / AD3500 / AD5000

The ZBOX PRO AD2000/AD3500/AD5000 External GPU Box is a nimble and compact solution that delivers massive performance boosts to less powerful PCs, accelerating graphical, computational, and AI capabilities thanks to its workstation-grade NVIDIA RTX Ada Generation Embedded GPU inside.

Capable of transforming any Thunderbolt 3-compatible Mini PCs or laptop computers into powerful workstations, the External GPU box can provide unmatched performance for virtually any project that calls for GPUs, be it video editing, 3D animation, photography, graphics design, or architectural visualization. The External GPU box can also be used to power AI inference applications such as LLM inference or Stable Diffusion image generation. With its three integrated DisplayPort video outputs, productivity can also be further enhanced with support for up to three additional displays, allowing more to be seen on screen and done.

The ZBOX PRO External GPU Box is ideal for shared GPU access amongst small to mid-sized teams, where agility within the workplace is paramount and cost-effective GPU usage is preferred. The externally connected design allows rapid on-demand GPU usage across the office or workplace, providing an easy platform for on-site collaboration. The External GPU Box also lets users have the best of both worlds between the compactness of mini PCs or laptop computers, and the performance of a workstation tower.

That moment when you realise understated black "industrial" case designs look far more appealing than half the "a Unicorn Rainbow Vomited on your Grandad's miniature greenhouse" consumer cases out there...

Did you prefer the pre RGB days where everything was red and black because those were gamer colors? :)

<checks pile of older GPUs>
<notes the perfusion of red and black>

I can turn off the LEDs at least. Though I'm mildly amused that this GT635 has a red PCB and the R5 240 has a green PCB.

I think Zotac is on the right track making GPU pucks for laptops. There's a LOT o laptops out there with thunderbolt.

I think they miss, however, because its just video. Ideally a puck should be a dock and GPU solution all in one. That is kinda the point of thunderbolt. Include USB, ethernet, audio parts, ece so its a one cable solution you plug into your monitor.

I am of two minds about the dock/GPU all-in-one solution as it would probably sell to more people if useful features are added (thus reducing the price thanks to volume) but eGPUs are already bandwidth and latency compromised, and worse so when the puck is sending the video signal back to the laptop's screen instead of an external monitor. Adding more Dock features just degrades the already twice degraded GPU connection, further reducing performance.

But maybe for non-gaming purposes these bandwidth limitations aren't such a big deal?
