I've had the 1st gen Superlight since December 2021 and did not experience this issue. The only problem I got is that the Superlight logo on the right side has faded so now it says Perlight.

My first one (1st gen) collapse at the upper left button area within a year, and scroll wheel clicks loudly, feels bad.

After RMA'd the wheel feels much better to use with no issue (4 months?) but tiny part of the coating already drop off, just like the first one.

Still I like the shape and how light the mouse button feels. Just unfortunate to read about the new buttons consistencies because double click is a big issue among Logitech mouse.

4K and 8K pooling is noticable only on 500/540Hz monitors as of now and only on game engines that don't oversaturated with it. One such exemple is the Doom Eternal engine that works great with it. You will need also 500+ fps.

By definition, a symmetrical mouse has side buttons on either side (axial symmetry), whereas an ambidextrous mouse is one that can be used with either hand. I'm aware that these terms are usually used differently in the mouse space, but if we go by their generally accepted definitions outside of this space, then the terms used in the reviews are the only correct ones.

The only excellent optical switches seem to be made from "A4Tech/Bloody LK Optical", like the cooler-master mm720 has inside.

I'll have a review of the non-A, whose only difference from the A is the lack of a second set of side buttons, so everything else will apply to both versions.

You're absolutely right, not having buttons on the right side means that this kind of design can't be defined as either symmetrical or ambidextrous.

I didnt see it mentioned, but what USB port/location are you using to test with?
I'm still using two of the original G Pro wireless (The superlight/X models had the issues with dying scroll wheels and buttons) with the powerplay mat, and found it's responsiveness is noticeably better with the physically closer receiver (Or the mat, which replaces the receiver right next to the mouse)

I've also had a few USB ports over the years cause issues with higher speed signals (1000Hz mode), where front-USB3 ports had issues while front USB 2.0 did not, the included extension would actually fix the issues on the 3.0 ports against the logic of 'shorter cable = better'
I can see the demands of this 2000Hz adaptor being tighter, location and port may be more critical than lower speeds?

If you have money, choose Razer 4K. If you don’t have enough money, choose VGN F1 MOBA 4K.Logitech is not worth it

Cant see any reason that wont work well, the powerplay mat has been fantastic for use with these mice, other than the poor choice of pads that fit the top of it (I Use a deskpad over it, so i can use any pad with the powerplay charger/receiver)

Chinese omron worse than japanese, and paradoxically the 50mln click ones had more issues. That's of course all anecdotal, these one are rate 60mln, but double click issues are still plaguing this mouse.
