Show off your cooling gear. Air cooling, water builds and extreme pictures required!!

Benchmark screenshots are welcome. Friendly competition is also welcome!

If you do cool, we wanna see it! Doesn't even have to be built yet. Got a parts grip?

To kick this off, here is some DryIce in action and a personal record or two.

HX 1050 from @LFaWolf - In use from his giveaway thread. Thanks again, here's that PSU in action. RIP Cheyong

Just recently replaced my Lian Li D11 with this Lian Li V3000 Plus. I really hate this case for watercooling. Total pain to build in using the EKWB Distro plate.

Hardware is just a placeholder until the next Intel socket.

Quick and crude solution for now. Temperatures aren't even low.
Last summer I hit ~14*C/57F under FULL load. But I did have better venting leading to PC

Wonder if I can get a waterblock and recirculate r134a or R410A

This is how mine is sitting right now. I like it, its pretty quiet. It idles so low that some people think my sensors are off, and loads under 80c at 142w PPT and 145w package power. It can handle 265w from my 5900X, but not as quietly :D

All of the fans installed right now are made by Thermalright

This is what it's running at currently. I need to go back and redo my OCs, so it's just a basic UV and boost bump on the CPU right now and one of my presets on the GPU.

sick "water-cooled" ram :rockout:

The Liquid Freezer II's tube length was one of the deciding factors in buying it
That rad is upside down and you want the rad ports above the pump. You should watch the stop doing it wrong aio watercooling video.

What? I thought this case is one of the best cases available today, what was the problem with the distro plate?

PC.jpg

@Canned Noodles
while some AIOs with a res/pump combo (eisbaer) have no problem with the block installed above the rad, as others said, not a good idea, as your trapping air in the worst spot (pump).
per arctic: the most important thing is to ensure that the radiator’s hose openings are located below the pump unit...

ignoring your still heating up the inside, affecting gpu temps negatively, while gaining insignificant on the cpu side.
mounting it on the top, and reducing inside temps by ~20-30*, will help, as Nv (last time i looked), throttles boost clocks for each 6* increase,
so even if its just 20* less, gains at least 3 steps for boost on the card..

ir_cow: So the problem may be just with the large "fancy" thick EK 480 rad, smaller normal 480 rads may fit fine in the top tray? Or slimmer EK rads?

You have the same rad in the basement too?

This reminds me that I started a thread for product improvement suggestions, could you please draw on the distro plate picture what changes should be made and post it in the thread?

still not sure why many here are giving away important gpu perf for a few degrees less on cpu (rad airflow going inside the case),
as long as the gpu is aircooled.
unless the gpu stays below 50C, your giving up around 4 boost steps on the clocks (~74C avg temp on most cards),
which will impact gaming perf much more, than the + <5C more on the cpu (rad setup as exhaust)...

I can't get much better of a picture without powering off my computer and disconnecting the power cable for the top mounted 200mm fan, so this is what you get.

20240522_165255.jpg

That's pretty much it, top and rear fans are exhaust and the two you can't see are behind the front panel (see image below) with the 240 AIO radiator mounted to them in a push position.

20240522_170134.jpg

That is all the cooling I have and the setup, in this case, keeps things cooler over any mid or full tower I've used that had more fans. Also, I don't have to worry about GPU sag with this case.

HAF XB Evo, love that case i've got one in the loft great test bench too.
Yeah. I got 3. Found a case I like and stuck with it. I don't like flashy RGB and I'm not staring at my case when I'm using the computer so there is no need for it to stand out or light up the room. Just sit there quietly in the background doing what it needs to do.

yours seems pretty clean, mine had the 200 fan get loud (dirty bearing) within a year, so i replaced it with four 140s.
