TechPowerUp and PowerColor Hardware Giveaway August 2010 Winners Announced

Here are the winners of PowerColor and TechPowerUp giveaway for the month of August, 2010, the final month of the Giveaway. For the months of July and August, three lucky participating users each month of GPU-Z got to win some groovy hardware from PowerColor. This month's winners are as follows:
  • Quanlin from China wins PowerColor PCS+ HD 5870
  • Puneet from India wins PowerColor PCS+ HD 5850
  • Aleksander from Poland wins PowerColor Vortex HD 5770
A huge congratulations to the winners. PowerColor will contact them directly and arrange for the shipping of the prizes. In all, this giveaway saw over 23,000 entries from all over the world. The giveaway has been made possible thanks to the good souls at PowerColor, for the users of TechPowerUp GPU-Z. We will be back soon with even more contests and giveaways. I've worked on these types of promotions before. If you own an "AMD" card and especially a Powercolor card you probably won't win. They want people to switch from whatever Nvidia brand they have to AMD/Powercolor.

there is no preference by anything. i take the number of submissions, go to random.org and get 3 numbers in that range, then pick the nth database record and thats the winner

Congratulations to the winners.
I am surprised to see the entries from Portugal, I wasn't expecting so many, since when I mention GPU-Z to colleges and people I know, they never heard of it.
Next contest, in case there will be one, will only come in a new GPU-Z version, right? Maybe I'll enter in the next one, MAYBE.
