Intel Arc A770 Launched at USD $329, Available from October 12

Intel today announced the pricing for the Arc A770 Limited Edition desktop graphics card, and it is set at USD $329, offering a class of performance comparable to NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards around the $400-range. The A770 is a full-feature DirectX 12 Ultimate-capable graphics cards. The Arc A770 Limited Edition maxes out the 6 nm ACM-G10 silicon, features 32 Xe Cores, 512 XMX matrix processors, and 512 EUs, which work out to 4,096 unified shaders. The card comes with 8 GB or 16 GB of 17.5 Gbps GDDR6 memory across a 256-bit wide memory bus. $329 could be the starting price of the A770 for its 8 GB model. Available from October 12.

If $329 gets me the 16Gb version, I am in.

I think A770 16GB will be a little faster than the 8GB version due to possible memory bandwidth difference (17.5Gbps vs 16Gbps if I'm not mistaken)
The 8GB version has to have at least same QHD performance/$ vs RX 6650XT (street price) imo and 16GB $50 more than the 8GB version) otherwise it doesn't make sense.
All the AMD Radeon offers i posted a week before are now 7-11% more expensive!

ARFOn par in production and faster in gaming.
What do you base this claim on?
"edit" im guessing because its seemingly an 12900k equal, imma wait for reviews but I see the logic in the assumption

" $329 could be the starting price of the A770 for its 8 GB model. Available from October 12."

so the 16gb model will unfortunately be higher, which is dangerous for Intel to do imo.

16gb versions are $330 dollars? or just the 8GB. ?
I might grab one. Also do they both require a 6pin or 8+6 pin?

RandallFlaggMan Intel is back. Not just this ARC at $329 but 5.4Ghz 13700K at $409. I hope these prices are real on launch day. It's time to spend some money!
400$ for 700k is actually pretty bad, but could be way worse like at 600-800 like years ago when amd was useless

That's a fairly aggressive price. Intel is pricing to take market share; AMD should take a page from this, and price RDNA 3 aggressively.

Not in today's world it isn't. The best price for a 12700K I know of is Microcenter, at $350. Same place, a 12900K is $499. The 12900KS is $699.

At $409 the 13700K is a 12900KS ($699) with more L2 cache, improved IMC (midrange Z790 boards now touting DDR5-7200), and IPC improvements.

We'll be lucky if we see it at $409 anytime soon is my thought, hopefully I can find one on pre-order for that. It's a steal at that price.

Best Buy will almost certainly take pre-orders.

For CPU/motherboard, in the past I only buy from microcenter or Best Buy. Easy return policy, no dealing with faceless nobodies if something is defective in the first couple of weeks.

I wonder how the 16GB version will run MSFS2020 at 3840x1080, 60Hz. That’s the only game I wish I got more FPS out of my RX6600 8GB.

If this GPU actually competes in this class, AMD and NVidia have reason to be worried about it and what's coming..

About as fake as your comment. If you're going to bother with a comment like this, keep it in the realm of reality, eh?

Oh no! What will MLID, TweakTown, I-Labs, CB, etc. do now about their fake news campaign headlines before the summer that "ARC is cancelled... it's been confirmed" BS claims?

Answer: create more lying and hateful concoctions posts.

Indeed, half-baked fake comments keep to your self. When it will be released then we can discuss. Meanwhile my info is based on current price, performance from reviews (a770 is not just two times better by their own leaks, it is more).

Even worse than I mentioned.

Aww, did you think that was clever? It was not.

You are not moving the goal posts. Your nonsense statement was about price, not the reviews.

Well not that I attach any value to any of those and die a little inside every time they are mentioned, the claim could still hold, its not so mcuh about this Arc card, these were done and would be released to get some money back, the claim is more about the future, that future development is canceled.

again I attach zero value to those claims, but yeah.

Marques Brownlee has one, I'm guessing he's under NDA for benchmark numbers.

Since it appears that MB is all in on PC gaming now, I guess he'll even beat Linus to PC exclusives hardware, etc.

Man, this is really going to set off fire from hell from TweakTown, I-Lab, etc. now!

Sorry about that, I thought it was available globally. :ohwell: It's one of the UK's largest online shops selling the ASRock A380 for £149.

I'm stateside and easily loaded it. Was even able to adjust the price to exclude VAT(124.99GBP) in the upper right corner of the page. So there's that...
