AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX Drops to $799, Pressure on RTX 4070 Ti
Graphics card prices on a much-needed downward spiral, and this doesn't spare even the enthusiast class of graphics cards. The AMD flagship Radeon RX 7900 XTX is available for as low as $799 with retailer promotions. Specifically, an ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XTX Phantom Gaming graphics card is listed on Newegg for $899, with a coupon shaving off a further $100. That's a 30% departure from the $999 MSRP of AMD for the RX 7900 XTX.
At $799, the RX 7900 XTX applies pressure on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, as the RX 7900 XTX can now be had at its MSRP. The RX 7900 XTX is on average 31% faster than the RTX 4070 Ti at 4K Ultra HD in our testing (the intended use-case of the RX 7900 XTX), and about 21% faster than the RTX 4070 Ti at 1440p (intended use-case of the RTX 4070 Ti). The RTX 4070 Ti is about 4% to 9% faster at real-time ray tracing.

Should be 20%, as 30% would be 699.
While an average person living conditions are stagnates or lowering during the last years, these companies were making records on profits years by years.
By other hand, While it seem they are do not care much about sustainability, their GPUs pwr consmptions are jut gaining on both sides. This is not a good way. Only the 4060 marketed by saving on electricity bill, but on other hand that card also have insane high price. And anyway, what is that marketing nVidia is looking around in my wallet, how much I could save on electricity and they calculated into the selling price? BullS...
Drop the price! This is a lower-mid tier card that level were around 250 EUR with VAT only few years before.... (RTX 2060) Now they want to sell the same level card for 320 EUR while no any mining boom, inflation can not descirbe this price diff., and also USD/EUR/TWN currency exchange rate do not explain it.
i can see sales are going trought the roof
How much memory has RTX 4080 got?

AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX Drops to $799, Pressure on RTX 4070 Ti
Any reasonable person will understand than, from now on, in the following days or weeks, we will see how, on average, the price range of RX 7900 XTX will be around 799$ competing against RTX 4070 Ti lets say in the US market. Some models will be more expensive and maybe some others on sale. This price drop is a movement (from AMD, from retailers, from whoever) to make that model more competitive against 4070 Ti.Right?
So actually all you need to know is:
Newegg 100$ coupon on ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XTX Phantom Gaming
Specifically, an ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XTX Phantom Gaming graphics card is listed on Newegg for $899, with a coupon shaving off a further $100
Do you really think this is the proper way to present the facts to people reading TPU?
Edit: Still can't find it on Newegg either. There's a coupon alright, but for a free copy of Starfield. Card remains at $899. Any luck anyone?
At $1100 CAD W/o the 13% sales tax still far out of my budget. Dumping that money into my house or kid’s education fund is what I would do if I had $1100+ lying around.
But then again, currently there are ZERO games, I mean good quality games that requires more investment in a new GPU
I'm looking at a 4080 Strix OC White right now, if I can't i'm gonna buy a 7900 XTX TUF OC, that'd be about it, no hard feelings
