Sapphire China Opens Up Radeon RX 9060 XT 16/8 GB Card Pre-orders, Starting at $347
Prior to AMD's official unveiling of the Radeon RX 9060 XT series, Sapphire's Computex booth teased a forthcoming lineup of custom graphics card options. Hours later, the TechPowerUp crew inspected freshly wall-mounted specimens. To the surprise of many, the Hong Kong-based manufacturer is readying a premium Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB NITRO+ SKU for launch time (on June 5). The usual suspects—in PULSE and PURE guises—were also exhibited within the walls of the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Centre. Not long after the closing of ceremonies, Sapphire China's JD.com store has opened up pre-orders for six launch day products.
Yesterday, a VideoCardz investigative piece delved into pre-release price points (including VAT). Keen potential customers can secure finalized retail units via a deposit system; demanding a 50 RMB (~$7 USD) upfront fee. Unsurprisingly, the largest tag is affixed to Sapphire's triple-fan 16 GB NITRO+ model—3299 RMB (~$458 USD). This top-tier option sits 800 RMB above Team Red's suggested guideline. The AIB's barebones dual-fan Radeon RX 9060 XT PULSE 8 GB package adheres to official MSRP: 2499 RMB (~$347 USD). Their PULSE 16 GB model sits almost in the middle of the lineup—in terms of pricing—at 2899 RMB (~$402 USD). VideoCardz believes that another PULSE color/finish variant will emerge, at some point post-launch—bringing the total number of items up to seven distinct products.Sapphire RX 9060 XT pricing (for China, including sales tax):

1. Relatively small die;
2. Insufficient memory;
3. Cheap boards;
4. Cheap manufacturing node - third after first 2nm and second 3nm by TSMC.
For example, When the 9070 launched here, the MSRP was 4499 rmb ($635 USD). US MSRP was $599
5070 MSRP in China 4599 RMB ($639 USD) - In the US it was $549.

So I guess we normal people just have to suck it up and shut up that's apparently the only way the big companies see's us consumers in the way everything is heading.
If people would stop over paying for specially Nvidia's graphics card it would course a lower price.
I been saying even for covid hit that there ain't a reason for a graphics card to pull 600W but it looks like people in the specially the US, middel east doesn't care they keep buying cards even with a faulty connection so consumers just have to buy the price.
AMD, Intel and Specially Nvidia forgotten who made their companies what they are today, a lot of consumers spend their hard earn money buying their products even if it's not directly but through a AIB partner. Every MSRP specially after the first crypto boom have to be taken with a grain of salt or you didn't learn anything? I am happy to hear you live in the china but it doesn't change the facts that MSRP ain't MSRP with the current tariff war going on.
I can totally agree throwing it out of the windows :rockout:
AMD lacks consistency and that too isn't good for sales. Their PR around GPUs still sucks monkey balls. They're barely competitive. Etc.
AMD even actively pursues a strategy that is NOT focused on PC dGPU for gamers. Their gaming proposition is focused on consoles.
They deserve every bit of criticism they get on that front - they're leaving the market to Nvidia. That isn't Nvidia's fault, at the very best its their accomplishment in helping to push AMD into that strategy. But AMD decides.
man, those guys are out of their minds. that's like twice as much as any sane person should be paying for 8gb in 2025
Personally, I think great things are coming, but thus far, AMD doesn't seem to place that much emphasis or importance on overtaking Nvidia. Perhaps it's not yet the time. They certainly want to be a premium vendor, but in order to do so, you need the things that Nvidia currently holds, the technology lead (hardware performance throughout the stack, engineering resources, qa, swdev, etc.). the marketing lead and the mindshare lead. They are aware of it, so I say, let them cook :p
It is insane that people are paying, but not many options for a new card at an affordable price. You either pay or don't play.
