America to Get 40GB PS3 and PS3 Price-Cuts November 2nd
On November 2nd, $399 will get you a lovely PlayStation3 with a 40GB hard drive, no backwards compatibility whatsoever, and 2 USB ports. This is $50 more than the Xbox360 Premium edition, and $150 more than the Nintendo Wii. On November 2nd, the 80GB PS3 price will be reduced to a mere $500USD. Sony has no comment as to why it took so long to determine when America would get this console.

sony are stupid should be good enough
Back back to the news, I don't exactly know if our market is going to like the 40GB version. It completely lacks compatibility with PS1/2 games. I see that hurting it's sells in America. At least the 80GB has software emulation for ps1/2 titles.
With two systems I'll be doing NES, SNES, Genesis, TG16, Neogeo, N64, GameCube, Wii, PS1, PS2, and PS3.
And Wile E. I was reffering to the fact that they both don't have the EE inside of them so they would both have the same emulation support I would assume since they are after all still the same console for the most part on the inside.

Since the Gameboy Player had a short life, and it didn't look like it would hook up anyway... maybe we'll see GB/GBC/GBA games on the Wii as well. Been awhile since I've done Link's Awakening :)
