G.Skill Launches New Apple Series SO-DIMM Memory Modules

G.Skill International Enterprise recently launched the new package and full product line for Apple Mac users. The products include:
  • 1GB SO-DIMM DDR2-667 (PC2-5300)
  • 2GB SO-DIMM DDR2-667 (PC2-5300) (one 2GB memory or 2x1GB kit)
  • 3GB SO-DIMM DDR2-667 (PC2-5300) (one 1GB and one 2GB)
  • 4GB SO-DIMM DDR2-667 (PC2-5300) (2x2GB kit)
All memories and kits are backed with a lifetime warranty, and should work just fine using CL5-5-5-15 timings. so whats the difference compared to the same ram but of a different manufacturer?

could you not just buy some corsair or samsung so-dimms for your apple mac & put them in??? & yes i know that some of the past generations of macs ram on their own type of memory

Yay!!!! Another marketing scam targeted at Apple users!! /sarcasm

This crap needs to stop. If the ram you are looking to buy for your Mac runs at Jedec specs, it works.
