GTA IV for PC Delayed Until December 2nd

Rockstar has confirmed that the PC version of GTA IV will be delayed by more than a month until December 2nd. The reason behind this delay remains unknown, but the game maker has at least released the minimum and recommended system requirements for the game. Check them out below.

Minimum System Requirements
  • OS: Windows Vista - Service Pack 1 / XP - Service Pack 3
  • Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8Ghz, AMD Athlon X2 64 2.4Ghz
  • Memory: 1.5GB, 16GB Free Hard Drive Space
  • Video Card: 256MB NVIDIA 7900 / 256MB ATI X1900
Recommended System Requirements
  • OS: Windows Vista - Service Pack 1 / XP - Service Pack 3
  • Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4Ghz, AMD Phenom X3 2.1Ghz
  • Memory: 2GB (Windows XP) 2.5 GB (Windows Vista)
  • 18GB Free Hard Drive Space
  • Video Card: 512MB NVIDIA 8600 / 512MB ATI 3870

hell this might be the first game with ACCURATE ones and its causing panic.

dear god, my 5 year old budget video card cant keep up with a modern game :( oh woe is me.

Baumarg x1900 as minimum req. that's bad ;-( time for a new GPU i guess
Looking at your specs you might want to replace a lot more if you plan on playing today's games.

actually, as dan said... NONE of your hardware meets the minimum requirements. that PC is very, very outdated... hell i have an athlonXP system with an x1650 pro, and i GAVE it away!

Great -- I played this game for a month on a borrowed XBox, and then when I had to give it back I had withdrawal symptoms that not even WoW could fix. Guess I'll be waiting another month.
