The AMD A6-5357M is a mobile processor with 2 cores, launched in June 2013. It is part of the A6 lineup, using the Richland architecture with Socket FP2. A6-5357M has 512 KB of L2 cache per core and operates at 2.9 GHz by default, but can boost up to 3.5 GHz, depending on the workload. AMD is building the A6-5357M on a 32 nm production process using 1,178 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on A6-5357M, which limits its overclocking capabilities. With a TDP of 35 W, the A6-5357M consumes only little energy. AMD's processor supports DDR3 memory with a dual-channel interface. This processor features the Radeon HD 8450G integrated graphics solution. Hardware virtualization is available on the A6-5357M, which greatly improves virtual machine performance.
