The Intel Pentium M 1.70 was a mobile processor with 1 core, launched in June 2003. It is part of the Pentium M lineup, using the Banias architecture with Socket 478. Pentium M 1.70 has 1 MB of L2 cache and operates at 1700 MHz. Intel is making the Pentium M 1.70 on a 130 nm production node using 77 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Pentium M 1.70, which limits its overclocking potential. With a TDP of 24 W, the Pentium M 1.70 consumes only little energy. Intel's processor supports DDR1 and DDR2 memory. Neither SSE3 nor SSE4 instruction sets are supported, which will lead to problems with games not starting.
