The Intel Pentium E6800 was a desktop processor with 2 cores, launched in August 2010. It is part of the Pentium Dual-Core lineup, using the Wolfdale architecture with Socket 775. Pentium E6800 has 2 MB of L2 cache and operates at 3.333 GHz. Intel is making the Pentium E6800 on a 45 nm production node using 228 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Pentium E6800, which limits its overclocking potential.
With a TDP of 65 W, the Pentium E6800 consumes typical power levels for a modern PC. Intel's processor supports DDR1, DDR2 and DDR3 memory with a dual-channel interface. For communication with other components in the system, Pentium E6800 uses a PCI-Express Gen 2 connection.
