That's 90C with Furmark tho. Under normal gaming he's loading in the 70s.

Yeah, that's why I'm not worried about it. Furmark can push a card's temperature further than any game out right now. I hit the high 80's with my card penciled (although it was a 3870) and it never hit over 70 gaming. Gaming under 80C is totally fine. Like I said though, it won't last for oodles of years.

VDC is Voltage, Direct Current. usually a dmm will have separate settings for ac and dc, hence why i specified.
a majority of electronics tools will not say ac or dc, but rather have their corresponding symbol.

Hopefully a electrician i know will let me borrow his Fluke multimeter.

I asked him how much it will cost to buy a decent one.
He said it would set me back at least €150 for a accurate one. :wtf:

It's not worth it for me to purchase such a high priced one. I rather buy a new videocard.

fluke and mastech are great, but overpriced for the hobbyist. we really don't need anything more than a $30 dmm. for the super-high-priced ones, they are more accurate, but only when measuring insanely low values. when you're measuring volts, amps, kilohms, microfarads, etc, you're ok with a cheap one. when you're measuring microvolts, milliamps, ohms(<100), and picofarads, sure, spend $150+ and get an accurate dmm.

i have no intention to spend more than $50, i was gonna look for that mastech i linked to on ebay but do you have a recomendation for a good inexpensive model?

My $10 Walmart bought DMM is exactly as accurate as my buddies $100+ Fluke. Boy does that piss him off. :roll:
