No chance its real, or microsoft woulda had ebay shut it down (As selling "stolen" items is against ebay TOS). Someone just spent 20 grand on a desktop.

Well if the item was sold then somebody made a huge amount of money. That is if PayPal actually transfers it.

Normally, games are made 1-2 years before the console is launched. So this is quite logical.
The seller is normally from the durango team and he has to prove it. That is the best proof.
I have learned that people even steal servers from some notorious websites, so even at durango,
he could have stolen it. From the screen, it looks real, but two options makes it barely possible.
I think though that the durango development kit is true.

The Durango kit exists, but this guy doesn't have one. If he had one and wasn't worried about legal implications, he would use his own name and not use SuperDaE's name.

I don't think it's real, but the Supermicro chassis doesn't mean it's not the real deal though. They can use it just as they could use any other chassis. Dev Kits are pretty much PCs.

Yeah, Microsoft probably hasn't finallized the design yet so all the components are ATX compatible and put in an ATX chassis (just happened to be a SuperMicro). It makes sense that they would use ATX because spare parts are readily accessible.

I thought the GPU was based off on the HD66xx or HD65xx series from AMD. Was reading the rumors somewhere.

20K?... are your fucking kidding me, the xbox dev kit wouldn't cost that much.

The Dev kit Absolutely wouldn't cost that much!!!

And that POS desktop is not worth 20K Used... not even close! plus... who in their right mind would bid on something they know nothing about!!! the person doesn't even list specs..... o.e.. america is going so down hill, a private jet with open doors couldn't help it get back up.
