EK Water Blocks, Ljubljana based premium water cooling gear manufacturer, is proud to introduce EK-FC7970 Matrix, a Full cover water block engineered specifically for award winning ASUS Radeon HD 7970 Matrix series graphics cards.

This water block directly cools the GPU, RAM as well as VRM (voltage regulation module) as water flows directly over these critical areas thus allowing the graphics card and it's VRM to remain stable under high overclocks. EK-FC7970 Matrix water block also features a very high flow design therefore it can be easily used in liquid cooling systems using weaker water pumps.

Base is made of nickel plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of quality POM Acetal material. The sealing is ensured by quality rubber washers. Screw-in brass standoffs are pre-installed and allow for safe, painless installation procedure.

EKWB also encloses two-slot I/O bracket which replaces the original three-slot, in order to make installation of mutliple graphics cards easier. Up to four EK-FC7970 Matrix water blocks can be used on a single ATX form factor motherboard by using EK-FC Terminal (DUAL, TRIPLE or QUAD type) system or other means of interconnectivity.

EK-FC7970 Matrix comes with the MSRP of 109.95€ (incl. VAT) and will be available for purchase through EK Webshop and Partner Reseller Network on Friday, March 8th 2013. Pre-orders are already possible.

Do you mean the logos on the underside of the card by the PCI-E slot that you'll never see? There is a logo on the part of the block for the barbs that you can see and they are the correct orientation.

If im not wrong, the back plate has notihng to do with the block, its just the original back plate that came with the card.

And that is good...

Usually waterblocks dont allow to mount back the original backplate, for many reason first of all screws are too long or too short second reason sometimes they forget totally to do some holding holes for the backplate.

no, if it's in a case you won't see it, in a test bench would be the right direction

In a horizontal test bench it would be upside down, but looking inside the tower case through side-window from above it would be the right direction.

well done EK for getting back to what is beautifully pleasing on the eye while remaining cost effective for your self. Now hurry back to the drawing board and release some new tops for your 670 blocks so you can start selling a few, mainly to me :) Yes id buy the old makesyouwantopukeverytimeyoulookatit designed block as long as you release a new easy on the eye top for the original cold plate. ahhhhh capitalism how to make a few quid out of your own fuck ups eh!!!111
