The most impressive thing from the 17 minute video to me was the scene with the small boat in the stormy, choppy waves. Looked pretty epic.

One thing that has me hooked is the improved destruction! It looks to be better than BC2 and has more physx with the debris on explosions.

I have came to the conclusion that I will not preorder it unless I luck up on the money somehow. Its not a huge step up from BF3 like BC2 was and when they did the surprise premium thing later on kinda killed the preorder aspect. If they release a version up front that is like the premium edition of BF3 at a reasonable price then yes.

It says any pre-order gets "a" Battlefield 4™ Premium Expansion Pack. Regular or digital deluxe the same.

Sort of like BF3 you got Return to Karkand if you preordered. All of the other DLC was extra.

I was a bit disappointed with BF3 destruction too (based on all they said and hyped compared to how it panned out) but anyone who thinks BC2 was somehow "better" or "more destructable" is smoking too much of something amazing.

Nothing impressive about the video to me its single player footage typical tactic to entice you to pre order a game. Its the multiplayer thats important to me. You can do a lot of things with a single player clip that are not possible or will not be implemented in the multiplayer aspect of the game. I have seen this to many times over the years show me the multiplayer footage and then I will make a decision.

There was a video that compares the destruction of BC2 and BF3 together and this showed how buildings could be dropped onto players and such.

I'd put a sold bet that if you count buildings totally destructible in game BC2 beats BF3. The main difference is that in BC2 stuff was mostly totally detructible where in BF3 buildings are just partially destructible. Watch some movies from this guy I don't think I like broccoli. - YouTube for some nice examples.

Yea, the single player screams Bad Company to me. I like what I see so far for single player, but yea we need to see improved MP.. The life like of the models look to be better. The biggest thing to kill BF3 for me is the hackers.. I'd still be playing BF3 if it wasn't for hackers... I like the destruction so far. I'm a little disappointed so far, but what can we expect? I mean who else is pushing visuals other than Dice and crytek? I'm going to go watch the video again in 1080p.. I hope to see something i didn't see the first time.. I'm high on pain killers right now.. I just had arthroscopic knee surgery on both knees and they have me on some good shit.. hehehe

BC2 did not have whole city blocks and shit surrounding you. You can't even compare the two, imo.

The trailer looks heavily scripted, and I know this may sound like heresy to most of you guys but it seems like the single player campaign for the BF series is turning more and more into the single player campaign from COD series in the sense that they make you part of this big Hollywood style movie, and you're nothing more than a prop, taking control of the shooting and driving...

And what shooting and driving! I mean, please don't take me wrong, I love me a big summer blockbuster here and there, and the graphics... Don't even get me started on the graphics... Seems like my titans will have yet another chance to flex their muscles

But in conclusion, the BF and COD single player portions are becoming more and more alike, and that's not entirely a bad thing, I'm a fan of both series, but when it comes to MP and graphics, there's no question that BF reigns supreme.
