Hey guys, Just got back in the game, Currently grinding on 3 tech trees with some smaller stuff,
I have the following.

Su-100
Cromwell
Hummel

Thinking of jumping and getting a Tier VIII any recommendations? I know how to use them as I was in Beta before launch with both IS7 and other Tier 8/9/10's

This are my tier 8 premiums:

Lowe: turn rate is average, slow unless it's flat or you are going downhill, turret armor is excellent but with some weakness, hull armor is mediocre, turret and hull side armor is crap, front hull will bounce shoots if angled at medium or long ranges, gun accuracy is excellent, aim time is good, dispersion is good, reload is average, damage is average, pen is very good. Very good as at generating credits.

T34: turn rate is average, speed good, Turret is superb, the commander's hatch is the only weakness, hull is bad it rarely bounce shoots, turret side is decent if angled, hull side is crap. Gun damage is great, aim time is bad, dispersion is bad, Reload is bad, precision is very good, pen is great. Very good as at generating credits.

Jagdtiger 8.8cm: This tank don't see tier 9 or 10 matches as often as the T34 or Lowe, which is a very good advantage for it. Speed is average, turn rate is mediocre. Superstructure armor is excellent, upper hull is very good, lower hull is good (remember this tank special MM) At medium or long ranges the armor is very good. Hull side is crap. Gun damage is mediocre, aim time is very good, dispersion is very good, reload is awesome, precision is excellent, pen is average. Rounds are super cheap. Exellent at generating credits.

You can't go wrong with any of them but IMO the JT8.8cm and the T34 are more fun and better money makers than the Lowe which isn't bad either.

I actually did some readying on the WoT forums and decided to go with the M26E4 Super Pershing.

Initially I struggled the first few games as I treated it as a medium, which with this tank is a BIG no no, so once I started acting as a heavy, my god it is a beautiful tank.

Frontal armour, whilst on paper may be lacking the fact it uses spaced armour is fantastic, at medium to long range I have deflected shots from T9's quite easily and even won 1v1 with a IS-3.

I was a beta player too, plenty has changed. Remember that you can test tanks in the test server that is available before new patches are ready (current test server is 8.5) they give you a bunch of credits and gold, nothing you do in the test server affects your main account. I usually try premiums there before i purchase one.

Oh yeah, I mean I've had it installed since first release and obviously was beta too, But I play it a lot less now than I did previously.

I guess it was the thought of having to all that grinding again to get where I was but I did go a completely different route than beta for the most part, I stayed away from Russian Heavies and gone down the German SPG route, British Medium and Soviet TD

The Super Pershing is a really lovely tank though, especially for the price.

Gun is a beast on the Tetrarch and it is insanely fast too, but still, that Pz isn't called micromaus for no reason. With the Tet or the T1E6 in Tier 2 battles that pz is the tank I fear most, hard to penetrate and the gun isnt that bad too.

So bought the SU-122-44 on the discount, and so far I absolutely despise it. That gun is just so annoying that even good games are one long streak of pain. :S

My 2 cents: don't buy the Dicker Max.

Oh. I doubt the SU-122-44 is a turd. I just can't use the Russian 122mm.

I have no problems with premiums at all (that I have LOL), I generally do good with them. Although of course the T14 really lacks penetration while the Matilda IV is slow.
