Really? That's very odd!

Some sort of virus?

Ooh been there tried a few different anti virus programs. And would of thought if i did have a virus it would try to shutdown my firewall.

Doesn't macro$0ft's knowledge base help in any way?

why would a virus try to shut down your firewall, a virus can do whatever it wants, it could simply steal your flashfxp stored ftp passwords & nothing else (have experienced that)

cant you just set it to 32MB or something? that's practically the same thing as no PF on C

Because a firewall is made to stop any unknown connections to \ from thee internet and restrict what a file is allowed to do, well that's with a good firewall with options.

It cannot send your password to any were if a firewall is setup right.

what you need is to click System managed size, then click Set and then Ok. This of course, while you maintain the C drive selected, as you show in your image. You will likely be asked to reboot, accept it and it should be solved.
