Need to update my Freelancer to the Freelancer MIS, my constellation to the Aquila and add in a Mustang Omega please

I have an M50 and 350r so am up for some racing when custom controls are in and private matches re-enabled

Finally had some time to race tonight - M50 feels great and I was getting lap times of around 1:10:90 which I'm pretty happy with. I then went into my 350R and there is something very wrong with the ship - between checkpoints 3 and 5 it's wobbling all over the place and getting forces applied from nowhere - a real fight to control. Not getting anywhere near good times in that at around 1:35:07 :/

Hopefully the 350R gets its wobble worked out then it will be a nice change to the M50 as the 350R's almost too fast for its own good.

What happened to aiming? My two side guns on the 300i now only shoot forward. With the current control and flight situations, it is IMPOSSIBLE for stationary weapons to hit anything at all, not to mention they run out of power within 3 shots. What's going on here?
I've been doing coop vanduul swarm with a friend, and all we can use is a shitty front mount turret that is capable of aiming everywhere and missiles.

I mean really, I thought this was going to have amazing ship control and dogfighting. In my opinion it's pretty awful in its current state.

do you use a controller? If so, that's why. They're working on fixing it.
The weapons only shooting forward for the wings is expected. The weapons are acting like they should now.

No mouse and keyboard.

Decided to remove the fixed mounts, now all of my weapons are on gimball mounts and work as they should. They shoot where I click.

Having a weapon firing only straight forward is crazy. it means you have to somehow line up your ship (which moves slightly badly as it is anyway) with the enemy ship while they're evading, and then pray that you guessed the position right when you compensate for movement and velocity.
I'm sorry, but this is supposed to be 900 years in the future. Not a dogfight from 1945.

I played for 15 minutes last night, and got instantly bored. I was expecting something close to the lines of freelancer with rebalancing for pvp.

My poor wallet... that 290 Jump, the Aegis salvage ship and the Anvil survey ship... I doubt any of them will be <$200 and they all sound sooo good...

But I don't think sli is working in start citizen atm anyway. So I may not be able to.

Don't expect SLi (or CrossFire) to work as it's not supported yet. Though, it might work anyways.

I'm holding out for whatever Nvidia's big expensive card is going to be.

It definitely doesn't work. tested it.
It worked when AC was first released, then they borked it somehow..lol

Yea I wasn't going to drop 2,000.00 on video cards. 1200.00 was enough for me. XD
Both of these will dust any single card on the market, no matter how much it costs.

I try to stay away from SLI/crossFire for the compatibility reasons.
Hopefully soon I'll be getting the top single card(unless it's like the 8800ultra lol)

I can understand that but one card won't do what I want and the games I care about, actually do support sli, like star citizen.
Not even one of the "titan" versions of the 980, will be able to game in 4k the way I want.
Two of these will definitely smoke one titan in benchmarks.

So far sli has treated me very well actually.
Virtually all major titles are supported now a days.
War thunder and star citizen are all I care about though and star citizen is a fps killer.

Maybe SLI is different, but CFX causes major artifacting. It seems to be tied directly to how much load is put on the cards, however, as there was almost no artifacting for me at 1680x1050, a noticeable bit at 1080p, and unplayable at 1440p. CFX disabled is fine at any resolution, and having checked the forums when this first started happening(second or third AC patch), I'm not the only one experiencing this exact issue.
