So yeah, basically I have a few friends (here where I live) that are into Star Citizen and I'll be playing with them together. Their Org. is exclusive and I cannot be a leader in another org. I can still take care of what needs to be taken care of, I just can't be the "leader". So being a leader will require no responsibility. If anyone is up to it, please help me out.

If no one is going to take it, I'm forced to dissolve it. It's my only other option. If everyone just wants a TPU friends list, they'll implement that later.

Don't want the org to dissolve, and hate that you'll be spending most of your time with the others, but I get it....

Eh, what's that? I qualify for some sort of leadership position that means nothing? Sure, figurehead suits me just fine. Since I'll be playing on both sides of the law, should be able to run support for anyone in the org who needs it. Of course, if anybody has any objections, my feelings wouldn't be hurt either.

This game looks really amazing. I tried registering an account on the site to reserve my usual name, but never got the confirmation mail. Anyone else had this happen to him? The retrieve account option doesn't do anything either (and tells you mail was sent even if you enter some garbage). Boo.

I'll probably be buying this once I get the money. (Maybe next week?) Looks amazing. I'd be getting the $45 arena commander pack. How have you guys enjoyed it?

So far it's pretty damn good and has come a long ways. I'm looking forward to experiencing more as it becomes available. I find myself flying around in Elite Dangerous beta more, but that is just at this point...beta 3 just dropped for it too. Played some SC tonight, was a riot...it has come a long ways and is quite fun and action packed! It was entertaining chasing bogey's through a rock/garbage field and constantly on the brink of blacking out (which does tend to get annoying but is a neat thought/effect none-the-less). I try to stick to lasers only, which adds challenge for sure, and makes aggressive flying more necessary to stay close. Flies GREAT on my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, no complaints at all on that front. This is one of those games that, if you can, you must own, imho...I just hope I'm right!

I can guarantee that if you even remotely like space sims, you'll love SC. As soon as the Mustang is flyable and you get out there racing and dogfighting, I'm quite sure you'll agree.
Congrats on getting the Accelerated Mass Design Mustang, that's a seriously sweet ship.

The Mustang seems like a cool ship by itself, but the Accelerated Mass Design R9 Omega variant just makes me drool whenever I see it.
I believe I've mentioned it in this thread before, but as soon as they go on sale, I'll be adding a Mustang to my lineup as my final ship before release. That is, unless something else comes along that my brain screams at me that I must have it, lol

It makes absolutely no sense at all, and finding anything is collosal pain in the ass. Things are put together seemingly randomly, without any sense of continuity whatsoever. Ewgh.

I've been wondering this myself. The engine surely supports it, and the level of detail going into everything else would certainly make you think that's the direction they're heading. The only doubt in my mind is that the level from the teaser looks like an all-metal structure that will probably be indestructible, a la Doom 3 multiplayer.

Not completely, no. There will be some things. Like if you're in a ship, the interior of the ship will take damage.

Not to mention things like barriers, thin walls, and glass.
It wouldn't surprise me if there are some on-planet levels or levels inside of very large ships(like a Bengal) that are mostly destructible, though.
