I do use Griffin Armor. I love it! Altho, I have Assassin's trousers. My favorite pants in the game. You do know there are 10% sigils too? I've got several 10% Qen's, and I also use Sign intensifier runestone, as well as a +30 armor piercing stone.

Another neat trick is matching up mutagens and abilities by color in the character screen. Huuuuge bosts to be had there!

-Cat school techniques ability to give 25% crit damage bonus for every piece of light armor simply does nothing when i wear light armor...
-Swords that give me critical hit damage seems to do nothing to my critical damage

U can notice that also by looking at detailed character statistics, the critical damage for both silver sword and steel sword strong and fast attacks isn't changing

Happened to me but for Sign intensity.
I wear Superior Griffin, and the armor set+glyph grant me +136% Sign intensity, when I equipped Superior Griffin swords (steel and silver, both +15% Sign intensity) I should have +166% Sign intensity, but it stays at +136%. Maybe the weapon bonus only active when we draw and use our swords in battle, but that's just my lazy conclusion

And another weird thing, I have a lot of lesser glyph of Quen, wanted to craft greater glyph of Quen but the crafting page said that I only have 1 lesser glyph of Quen hahaha.

This is correct. So if you have say, an armor-piercing runestone in a steel sword, and a stun or stagger runestone and a sign intinsifier in the silver, they will only provide those benefits when being used. Likewise, all the trophy benefits do not stack either. Only the one attached to your saddle is active.

Finished The Witcher 2 and transferred my save over, nothing major has changed and i didn't find out what became of Anais or John Natalis. No major plot changes, just i think some characters surviving but not having an impact on the overall plot.

I had to reconfigure a lot of the keyboard and mouse controls.
NOT having strong and light attack as default on the mouse clicks for me was absurd; i think caps lock was the key to switch between light/strong attack, which is stupid in battle if you want to quickly do one or the other. The lock on imo has merely side graded rather than improved, its not worse but its not better either. I wish some of the keys where the same like the run key for on foot and horseback. They could condense several actions into the one key but you can't bind a key to more than one action; for example being able to use a "use" key to mount/dismount a horse, open doors, initiate conversation and open chests ect would be handy. I also liked the way the mini wheel worked in Witcher 2 a LOT more, being able to select with a mouse click rather than hit E is better imo and having meditate in the middle made it less annoying than having a separate key on the other side of the keyboard.

Even when i had a look at the controller layout i was surprised as they made the attack buttons x and y rather than the triggers.

At least i don't feel like the gameplay is crippled at the start like The Witcher 2, making you unlock abilities like parry and counter was fucking moronic.

You'll encounter some of the people who lived in 2 , and a couple of your actions carry over into the world events, but not much. It IS kind of nice tho to run into someone because you influenced thwm or helped their survival in 2.

Sadly I lost my save years ago. Had I know the saved carried over I would have replayed 2 I'm to far to change that now tho lol.

How do you do the alternative mode signs?

Upgrading the skill is not enough. You also need to equip it by installing it (apologise for the poor choice of word) into the skills slot. The same thing goes to mutagens. I could not perform the Whirl attack because I did not equip it, despite it has been upgraded to the maximum allowed. Pressing or holding the left click button would only make Geralt perform fast attack. After I equipped it, I could perform Whirl attack by holding the left click button.

Which is one of the fun features I like. I spared Letho in the second Witcher. I am looking forward to see him again here in the third serie, assuming he made it into the third. Also that spice merchant Roche, Ves and others.

Thats some good info on the active slots! I was wondering if there was any point to those besides providing boosts when they match a mutagen color.

Just stable. But, as can see, 350 driver for single GPU performs in Witcher 3 very well. Any problem.
I've tried nearly all tricks and tools, but doesn't matter what i did, i got a lot TDR's in 353 and 352 drivers.

Endless tdr's in Chrome...
Btw, miraculously, 353 driver was worked fine on 1 day. And i was thought that Nvidia fix is here. But. On 2 day TDR's start appears... i don't understand.

Quen is what I use most. Igni and Aard I use on humans a lot, Yrden for your more magical monsters and Axii for whenever I feel like it. Oh, Aard... I guess I use that to move rubble around.

Quen all the way. man i would have liked to see more witcher gear set than just the 3 that gets upgraded up until lv 31. i don't know why they dint make it upgradable further. there is higher than 31 non witcher gear the stats arent very good in comparison tho.

Axxi and Igni are the two I love the most. Axxi works awesome on monsters and humans alike. Most of my points are in Igni though. I love burning everything in my path.
