this patch seems to have fixed the crash to desktop. i'm very happy about that lol.

i finished the game i have to say i got an awesome ending.

im going to try and kill that thing now lol.

bah its only lv 27. if you kill it, it re spawns again and again. you do get xp i get crap xp cuz its grey to me but if u can farm it at maybe lv 20+ u could have a neat xp exploit on your hands.

i think i killed like 7 b4 i got bored is so easy for me to kill. my dps is stupid high.

EDIT Damn, I have 3 CTD errors with this 1.05 patch in just 2 hours, with 1.04 I have none in 100 hours of gameplay.

Just finished my first playthrough, got the "good" ending, 104 hours.

Now for the 2nd playthrough : Death March + focus on Gwent (didn't care about Gwent at all in my first playthrough).

Did anyone manage to have hairworks float well on AMD gpus? Just asking...

I got the game running at 60fps+, everything on ultra except for "hair" as it cuts my frame rate by ~1/2 when enabled. I'm not crazy about hairy stuff, but I'm curious...

AMD's official solution seems to be a huge graphics downgrade (decrease in tessellation): http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/Optimizing-The-Witcher-3.aspx

So, still in the Skellige Isles, and played 100 hours. Yep, thats right, I'm taking my time and hitting all locations, hitting as many contracts and secondary quests as possible, including heading back to Velen, Novigrad, and White Orchard, clearing all locations and taking contracts that were too difficult for me before. Oh, and not one crash in all this time!!

Just my curiosity I think. So far I'm winning Gwent everywhere in Velen and also enjoying the ridiculous Ghoul's, Nekker's, and Wraith's damage on Death March

I beat it at 90 hours. I don't think I could do a Death March play through at another 6 hours. Also, it seems to be a glitch that lesser runestones you pick up can't be combined to make higher level ones, you have to craft lesser ones in order to make higher level ones. Main thing I would do though is go for the witcher gear straight off, try and get as much as I could.

I upgraded my driver to 353.06 I believe and I was getting constant "Display Driver Has Stopped Responding and Recovered"

Went back to the 352 patch that was released for the witcher 3 game and it seems to have stopped.
