Watercooler system ( tubing setup )

Hi everyone.

I need some advices.

I am building a Watercooler System, the parts/components that are going to be Watercooled are: Motherboard/Chipsets, GPU and CPU's.

Now my question is:
What should i cool for first,
motherboard/chipsets or Graphic card?

What I mean by that is:
Should the water cool for first the GPU and then the Motherboard/Chipsets or vice versa?

My setup should go this way:

Plan A

280 Rad >>>> GPU >>>> Chipsets >>>
120 Rad >>>> CPU #2 >>>> Rad 240 >>>> CPU #1 >>>>> Res.

Plan B

280 Rad >>>> Chipsets >>>> GPU >>>> 120 Rad >>>> CPU #2 >>>> Rad 240 >>>> CPU #1 >>>> Res.

All suggestions are more than welcome.

Pump feed (Split 2 way )

If it was me i would play it safe and buy an AIO for each cpu and leave the 1080 on air.

I wouldnt risk an expensive hard to find motherboard with my first custom loop.

Sorry but I don't like splitters

Btw, i have always avoid to cool the CPU with the water that comes from another component, the water to goes to the CPU should come directly from a Rad to CPU, each component should get water from a Rad.

Res to pump, let's forget about it that's an old history.

You want Both CPU's to get same and individual flows of cool water before that water goes anywhere else otherwise you can kiss the proverbial ass of high overclocks goodbye

I will never do any watercooling, I don't like the idea of water and computer hardware together....
If you have a leak somewhere, bye bye hardware...

it doesnt matter, all you need is a decent pump and there will be no realy temp difference on CPUs. I did somethign like this in the past and all was OK

Loop order doesn't matter, sealed system. Equilibrium. Splitters are for the birds.

Only time i would ponder loop order is if there was a high restriction block involved.

Order does not compromise performance or its not something you maight notice or could be ending on hotter temps,
ill recomend to use hard tubing, way better than the plastic one, but its a little bit "fragile"

also ... i dont likte flow splitters...
but i like flow indicators...!

The motherboard chipset doesnt need to be water cooled. By putting a waterblock on it you might be causing it to run warmer then it would if it was just air cooled. You could watercool the VRMs on the board and they would be last in the loop since you only need to keep them under 75C.

As for flow indicators; they look nice and add function, but they arent really needed.

Also flow splitters could only really work to split the flow between the two identical CPU water blocks. Since the water will take the path of least resistance you dont wanna use a splitter for blocks with different pressure drops.

Like many I've used it years, I change stuff often and NEVER leak check, I just do it right first time but I'm not concerned about spillage , you don't set your loop up with the pc switched on after all.
I've tried many a config but here's my loop preference as of now.
Res,,Dual inline pumps,, 360 rad ,,,CPU block ,,,360 rad,, northbridge,,, vrms then res ,,,but I did just get 2 gpu blocks so I will likely fit them inline at the end of that loop split fed.

Oh and for me loop order does matter if you have multiple rads and or are going for slight clock increases ,ie if I had my CPU block last it would get higher temp water to cool it and would hit higher temps a.d be less stable.
Soo single rad and pump you still go CPU first ,yet order doesn't matter to some ,not so imho.
