How fast do you run your CPU when gaming?.....lets say the boost figure or your regular over clock.

My i5-2400 will go anywhere from 3.5 to 3.9 depending on CPU load. Rarely does a game use ~70-80% or more of total CPU power.

My i73930k chugs along at 4.2. It used to be 4.4 but some games didn't like it there. Hopefully it'll get a new home when I upgrade later this year, early next year.

All depends on what i am doing to be honest but i usually set all cores on my I5 2550K to 3.8Ghz.

If i use PCSX2 i will run between 3.8 to 4.4Ghz

If running Mame 3.8 to 4.2Gghz

PC gaming 3.8Ghz

Everyday normal use 3.8Ghz

Benchmarks what ever i can get it to run at, max has been 4.7Ghz but need way to many volts and could only get that to work with 8gig of ram.

I also have a rust server running 24/7 so have been using higher clocks in some things.

My ITX rig runs at stock 3.7GHz.

My x5650 varies, depending on usage. I've made 3 presets on my Rampage II GENE for various situations:
1) Undervolted 3.2GHz (summer mode)
2) Slightly undervolted 3.8GHz (24/7 mode)
3) 4.2GHz @ 1.3V (Performance mode)

My i5 6500 can run just a little over 3.6GHz (it's OC'd a little because of my ram XMP profile).
It's running just over 3.2GHz if the game/benchmark supports multithreading.

It's just doing it's job, getting a steady 60fps (in-game v-sync) or few 100s fps in older games with eye-candy, only having a 1080p 60Hz monitor.

Power saving features left turned on in UEFI but switched Windows 10 to the High Performance Profile but the IA Cores idle at 0.313 W. Notice a bit of lag with the Balanced Power Profile.

I tried running at 4.7 but it requires me bumping the voltage up from 1.242 to 1.276 leading to temperatures 79-83c.
