If the Reference Card has a Boost Clock almost the same as my Sapphire Nitro+, I would expect these to OC much higher especially with custom coolers.
1500Mhz looks possible here as even with the lousy stock fan it isn't thermal throttling at the higher Boost which tells me this is better binned silicon at lower watts previously reserved for Commercial binned chips.
I'm excited!

+38 on core, +100 on vram. it has been done from AIBs already so not very impressive.
if amd is squeezing every drop from those chips for ref. could be that there isnt much left for AIBs to do their twiks.
hold your excitement till cards are out and properly tested

Yes, but this is now the default stock speed.
This suggests that with better cooling and that this card will OC beyond what the 400 series can currently achieve on Air.
This is very exciting for those who cannot, or are not willing to spend $700+ on a GPU!

That is the discrepancy I was referring to; the chart says that but the GPU-Z says the same for the RX 570, so unless the boost clock is the same for both cards I suspect there is an error in that specs chart.

Apparently that 570 doesn't do much better than a 470, which would indicate a 580 wont be much faster than a 480.
Which would lead to the assumption that a not so overclockable 570/580 could be beaten by a highly overclockable 470/480.
All in all I just see slightly higher clocks, but maybe we just have to wait and see if those new cards have some extra tricks up their sleeves?
And maybe Amd had this planned all along, to replace 4xx cards for more or less the same 5xx cards.

It's a rebrand with more mature chips = higher clocks / higher maximum clocks (overclock), better ref cooler / more power = no power/heat problems. Not too bad if you ask me, but yeah RX Vega will be much more interesting. The most interesting GPU of this year probably.
