Uh hi guys,

I know this is a long shot but umm without buying a new board is it possible to find a PCI to 3.0 header Card? Only reason I ask is cause my MB doesn't contain a 3.0 header so I was searching with no such cards. Is it just too slow or what? I know these cards only run in 32-bit? @133mhz but I could be fine without the Extra 3.0 Ports I have already

I could buy this though LINK and THIS

I have that exact Anker card and it works pretty damn well. Had to get it since my board has one header and my case needed two. Plug and play ready basically.

Just a usb port. I assume some parts require a usb port for something internal.

I'd buy the Anker one, since it's a better known brand (afaik)

You say PCI, but then linked to PCI-E cards. Do you need PCI or PCI-E?

Well since the one y'all linked will allow usb 3.0 ports in the back and the ones in the front I'll be buying it and yes I meant pci but as mentioned it's just too slow for 3.0 so

Probably its an internal header (USB2 for a Front panel media Card Reader )

Yes you can connect your front USB 3 Ports with the Internal USB3.0 20PIN Connector
Providing the header cable is long enough

Well then I'll have to get a extension wire for it. Hate when site refer to it as a cable and not a wire or wires lol. That's basically what they are

I'd say it's less about the card manufacturer, and more about the chipset manufacturer(s). The Anker uses a VIA. The Sienoc uses a Renesas and a Genesys. I know VIA and Renesas make good chips. I've read the newer Genesys chips are "fairly decent nowadays"

What Motherboard do you have that still has a PCI slot?

That's because they are CABLES!
If it was a wire it would be bare copper or steel without a sheathing coating it. :kookoo:

USB3-0-Female-20-Pin-to-USB2-0-Male-9-Pin-Motherboard-Header-Adapter-Cable

No. That lets you plug your front-panel USB 3.0 cable into a motherboard USB 2.0 header. You'll be able to use the ports, but they'll be the slower 2.0 variety.
Socket 775. It's the p5g41-m le

It looks like that board has a PCIE x1 slot. You should be able to use one of these cards without a problem. Just check the auxiliary power type: some use a Molex plug, others use a floppy drive plug. The cards have a power connector to provide sufficient power to external USB 3.0 devices.
