ID-Cooling offers a true feast for the eyes with the Dashflow 360. Fully decked out in RGB LEDs on both the fans and pump, this design will definitely turn a few heads. Looks are not all it has on its side either; with standard G1/4" fittings, the unit is also fully expandable and serviceable.

When a 360mm is bested by a 240mm. (corsair h100) then its not worth the money at all

Noctua U12s is a champ for these six core intel processors. Same temp as a 360mm aio and $100 less.

good review, not so good product. I mean, how can a 360mm aio can be both - hotter and louder than240mm or a good tower aircooler?

Must be a miss match with the fans as the pump is great. It would have been good to see the results with some pressure optimised fans on this unit...

I doubt it -- Its the same blade design as Gentle Typhoons, EK Vardars and Swiftech HeliX fans.

Boy, that is surprising.. The pump is a 450L/h and the fin density seems quiet good...I wonder why it is so bad on the results...Could it be a bad cold plate?

It is a radiator fan mismatch,

No these are not the same design as the Gentle Typhoons / EK Vardars. the Vardars in particular are a 7 blade design. These fans are a 9 blade design. Results in higher airflow but lower static pressure.

I did test with static pressure optimized fans (be quiet Silent Wings 3 at 1450 RPM. dropped overall noise at max settings to 40 dBA with similar performance making for a much better balance in regards to the temperature results. These temps would be okay at that noise level but since the ID-cooling is a great deal louder due to higher RPM fans performance should have been higher.

The problem here is likely fin density + fan design. As stated in the review. For fans of this nature an FPI of around 18 offers better temps and lower noise due to less air turbulence. On larger CPUs with soldered IHS the Dashflow 360 would likely have performed much better, however using an 8700k which has TIM, it shows that what you see as results on a soldered chip are nowhere near to what you can expect on a mainstream chip like this. Thus why I use a non delidded 8700k for this very reason. A good example of this is the Aerocool P7-L240 which uses a lower FPI radiator to better go with its RGB fans.
