I too whould like to see a AMD test still, and overclocking results for both platforms.
it doesn't mean restricting yourself to test on a very specific platform, let say Intel.
The reader that comes from AMD platform would be delighted if you also provide the result on AMD side.
You are right, and this deserves a more thorough explanation. Testing for any given component is as standardized as possible. In order for results to be valid and useful the number of variables must be reduced to a minimum. This means using the same test bed for each and every product. For example: posting test results of this memory kit tested in an X470 board using a Ryzen 2600X in the same graphs as all the other kits tested on a Z390 board using an i9 9900k would not give any useable insights as to how this kit performs compared to others on the X470 platform.
What I am reading from you is that you want a second page of performance results for all kits on an AMD platform. I will consider this in future reviews, but you must understand that this effectively doubles the workload for each review. I am not sure this is worth the effort, though I am willing to explore the idea. I will try it out on a future review, or perhaps do an article specifically on the performance differences between the two platforms.
As for overclocking, that is more simple. I will include overclocking results in future reviews.
