I've not had an update alert on my Android phone. Should I manually go to the Play Store and get the latest version?

Mine was automatically installed when I got up. Checked the store and it is indeed the latest version.
Prob wouldn't hurt to do it manually if ur auto update isnt on or pulling from the store.

@W1zzard my app version is 2.0.3 from 2016 on Android. Checking the Play Store shows the same version available, which is inconsistent with your update on here. Why isn't your updated version available?

This is an issue I’ve had for quite some time. This is on Safari on my iPad Air 2 latest iOS(but previous were the same) I’m using the standard forum version. But when trying to view images it only loads half of it. Here’s an example.

Does the Apple App store have Firefox or Chrome? If so, use one of them. You'll have a better internet experience in general.

Yeah I’ve tried FF it’s my desktop browser and you couldn’t pay me to use Chrome. There’s really nothing bad about Safari. This is just a weird issue with images uploaded by posters. News pics for example are fine.

If the app store has no update for you, then everything is fine. They made me jump through a few hoops and I had to resubmit the app, wasn't sure if that caused it to get marked as "updated"

Ah, thanks. I wonder if that's because I'm stuck on Android 711 on this old smartphone. For the record, it works pretty well, so there's no pressing reason to upgrade.

agree, many apps that ruined after new update
i prefer keep the one that works well

There's something going on with this site and Edge. I don't know exactly why or how. But pasting keeps breaking on me. Works everywhere else(online and off) just fine. Copying works, pasting does not. I can copy text from here and paste it anywhere...except here. It seems to be limited to version 1809. I've done 2 clean installs to try and fix it. Since the umpteen ways I tried to fix Edge itself didn't work. Right after a clean install I can paste things into a post here. And then later, for reasons unknown, I suddenly can't. And after it breaks, that's it. It's gone for good. Which is beyond frustrating.

Anyway...I'm done with it...for now. Switching to Chrome. What a PITA. I swear IE was the best, most user-friendly, browser ever. Used it strictly for years(nearly 2 decades straight). Never had issues like this. Never used another browser that did everything as well(or rather the way I like). I wish someone would just patch IE up so it's usable again.

Alright. I tried that and I do have the same issue trying to paste text into a reply/post. Doesn't work with Edge. Does work with Chrome and IE. Sorry I took so long getting to it.

EDIT: Wait. I just tried it again and it did work. And it's working here now too. What's going on? Did you/they just fix it?

EDIT 2: Now it's not working again. It seems to have something to do with where I've copied the text from, and/or with what browser. If I copy it from that forum or this forum, with Edge, I can't paste it in either one. Let me do some messing around to verify what I'm talking about...

EDIT 3: Yeah. That seems to be the deal. If I copy text with Chrome or IE, from wherever, then I can paste it here or there with Edge. What's weird is if I copy text, from wherever, with Edge, then I can paste it here or there with Chrome or IE(but can't paste it here or there with Edge). I was starting think it might be a copying issue with Edge, and not a pasting issue. But now I don't know if it's both, or neither, or what the hell's going on. I don't get it. But it's definitely just Edge that's doing it. It might just be some damn thing on my end too. It was working after a clean install of the OS(twice), and then it quit(twice). I have done a bunch of stuff in the mean time(tweaking and installing stuff). Some part of which might be the culprit. Whatever it is, I don't know what it is. And I've done a ton of stuff to try and fix it to no avail. The only thing I could do to make it work again was a clean install of the OS. I haven't done anything that I wouldn't ordinarily do. And, like I said, this seems to be just with version 1809. I have an 1803 install with pretty much the exact same setup(same PC, pretty much the same apps and tweaks, but on a different SSD) and Edge works fine with it.

Seems more like Win10/Edge problems to me...

Dont know if this is a site issue, but I am noticing that a lot of threads i am watching that i dont get an alert for when someone posts in them.

Is there a timer on watched threads?

Over the past few months, I've been noticing certain threads I haven't viewed in a while ,keep resetting back to the first post, like I've never viewed them at all. I'm not sure how long it's been happening exactly, but I know it's happened a lot of times , I've had to scroll down to the bottom and then skip all the way to the end.

Is it just me, &/or is this an intentional function?

It just happened in filthy rotten helpdesk, anns had happened in many others, like benchmark threads, freegames, etc. its seems to have no rhym or reason
