This is happening to me as well. Load says 1% on US-1 and it indicates it is the closest to me. However downloading something from US-3 (nvdia 430.53) was drastically faster. 2 minutes instead of 43minutes.

I've been trying US-1 periodically and it is still very slow. Sometimes it is normal BUT Germany is way way faster.

I would make the suggestion to drop that server completely if it doesn't step on anyone's toes.

Yeah, I added two more us servers in the meantime, would be nice if you could check their speeds too.

Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

We can’t connect to the server at www.techpowerup.com.

If that address is correct, here are three other things you can try:

Try again later.
Check your network connection.
If you are connected but behind a firewall, check that Firefox has permission to access the Web.
Guess we will get a few of these for a while New upgrade ect.
