Most times the Overclocks are somewhat interconnected thus in many cases people have reached higher core speeds by lowering their memory speed. Could be the thermal factor or something else, i haven't really looked into the matter.

hope to see phenom.. I think 3DMark 06 is cpu dependent..

and also.. hope to see Intel chipset using SLI.. crossfire are more efficient than SLI.. I think..

it doesnt matter, both dry ice and liquid No2 cool to about the same temp...which means both of the cards were on equal footing.

It goes to show that the 2900xt isnt the laughing stock of the new DX10 card world. Also, he beat the ultras that wrre sli's (I think he used ultras)

Same temps ? Liquid nitrogen can freeze you inside out in a matter of seconds....You could sleep in dry ice and it would take hours for your organs to freeze. I know this is a weird way to compare those two but its the best way to make people understand that liquid nitrogen is far better than dry ice. Why do you guys think that he used Liquid Nitrogen instead of dry ice ? For sport ?

No I was saying, if LN2 is so much colder than Dry Ice, then why do people commonly mix the two together for LN2/Dry ice.

I didn't think they did? It was Dry Ice for the Ultras when Shimano made his run, and LN2 for the CPU. LN2 was too expensive for him to use with the Ultras at that time, or he didn't have enough etc. Is that what you're asking?
