Number one is The Saboteur, I think.
Yep. I like the artistic atmosphere of things being heavily grey scaled until you start to liberate areas. Fun open world game. To me the game felt like it was mesh of the best parts of Assassin's Creed (free climbing), Mafia (old-timey cars/guns), GTA III (nicking any car you come across should you want to and decent driving/racing) and the attitude of The Boondock Saints (first movie, not the second one).
Second game is Advent Rising, was a cool Sci-fi game.
Shame that the triology never happened.
Third game is Call of Cthulhu dark corners of the earth.
Did not play it myself but I watched a full playtrough a few years ago out of interest.
That would be them.
I was saddened to learn that Advent Rising trilogy was never to happen. The game wasn't the best thing - it had some quirks that needed ironing out, but I really enjoyed it. The story was a bit cliche, but it worked well with a few twists it had. I loved the hand-to-hand combat with the mix of weapons and powers. So much fun. I played through it probably a dozen times now.
Call of Cthulhu - Dark Corners of the Earth
One of the most memorable moments is when you're running for you life, trying to escape the bad guys coming for you in the hotel. You have no weapon, you need to block their route as you move through the building and then you need to sneak out of the warehouse you go through. This was probably one of the most intense parts of the game, it had me on the edge of my seat while I ran for my life and snuck out of the warehouse.
Clue: this is a game I still haven't finished.

To me, this looks like a game my younger brother loved to play.....I wonder whatever happened to the copy we used to have?
