If you go 1080p , you can not go back to 720p
If you go 1440p , you can not go back to 1080p
If you go 2160p , you can not go back to 1440p
That's being said , Your eyes is excited to new world but will hurt in front of old world, so for next generation card , make sure you have at least enough budget , you can't keep up with current generation if you're at high tier.4K is no joke.
