Ah, makes sense then, as i’m not getting anywhere near this, especially in towns and when there is a lot of vegetation, as i’ve got advanced settings cranked to the max. And by the way, is using MSAA through nvidia’s control panel give a better result than the in-game setting?
At what resolution are you playing and how are your fps?
Edit: Ah 2560x1080... If you tweak your settings you should be able to get 100+ fps with that GTX1080.
Well with MSAA in the game I was still seeing shimmering/jaggies, it seemed it didn't work anymore as before for some reason...
Once I tried via the nvidia control panel @ 2x it seemed to work again and then after that if I want I can set the MSAA higher ingame.
I used this guide: https://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/grand-theft-auto-v-pc-graphics-and-performance-guide
I have chosen my settings so it visually still looks great with good performance.
Edit: I've disabled AA in the nvidia control panel and tried ingame MSAA and now it worked again...
The ingame MSAA seems taxing the GPU more then when I set AA in the nvidia control panel...
