Leopold makes a grand debut on TechPowerUp with its most popular keyboard to date: The FC660C is a 65% keyboard using genuine Topre electrostatic capacitive switches, in the new silent version, paired with a classic two-tone PBT dye-sub keycap set.

But its just teh rubber dome!

Thx for review.

My personal Novatouch rubber dome is excellent. I suspect this wont be worse, but sadly apart CM nobody made MX stems in Topre I think?

Only thing I wish is that it was full size. Not fan of small factor of any kind.

It's a South Korean company. The switches are Japanese but that's like saying a random Chinese keyboard is Made in Germany for using Cherry MX switches.
But the sticker says made in japan ;)

The switches, yes. Don't let marketing mislead you, not that there's any difference between made in Japan/Korea/China inherently in my books.

Didn't one of the pcbs also say Tokyo on it? Usually if it's only assembled, it will say assembled in xxx country with foreign or global components. Either way, it's kind of amazing since basically everything now is manufactured/made in China.

You need to do this one for TheLostSwede lol

Once you try topre switches you wont want to use anything else and wont have too because they dont break. I've been using topre type heaven since 2007, I got it after breaking a 250 dollar das pro mechanical that was suppose to be unbreakable.

Topres arent even that expensive considering alot of mechanicals costs more and they last forever.

Hope thats true, my previous mechanical also died, which was reason I bought what I have now.
