Nanoleaf Announces Lines Modular RGB Lighting Product

Fancy some extra RGB lighting to make your home pop just a little bit more than your PC can provide? Then the Nanoleaf Lines might be what you've been waiting for, as these modular RGB LED strips are wall mountable and customisable to your liking.

They serve as much purpose as RGB lights in your PC, although they could obviously be used for mood lighting, albeit a very expensive set of mood lighting. The Lines feature a built-in controller, but can also be controlled by an app, or via most of the popular home assistants through voice. It's also possible to sync the lighting effects with both music and what's being displayed on your screen. Finally there's Razer Chroma Connect integration.
Each Line has two LED zones that can display individual colours and the starter kit comes with a total of nine Lines, which will set you back US$199.99, with a set of three extra Lines going for US$69.99.

Hard to make connecting solutions for more, if you look at how they connect together.

Met the guys behind Nanoleaf many moons ago, when they were doing their first connected LED bulb.

Making a light panel that size look good and consistent can't be cheap or easy. Adding on the smart features isn't cheap either so if these things are well made its probably not that overpriced. Really depends on the quality overall and I haven't seen them so I can't really say but I can see some potential for some cool ambient lighting ideas.

Hmm very expensive for Smart.

I use a 24v WWRGB (Warm White + RGB) LED Stripe with power supply, controller etc. it cost me 4 years back 112€, regulated via Voltage and not PWM.

I dont need a fucking lamp in my living room.

I thought it was interesting that I noticed one streamer had the original set in the background of their stream one day and then a few days later all of the streamers seemed to have them. Now I rarely see them anymore.
