This may not be what you are looking for and it would require most people to read up on how it works in order to correctly control all fans on your system. There is an automatic setting which I use. But beyond that its the most most powerful and versatile fan control out there and I have been using it since the Pentium days. It is a single dev so it slow to update but over time a host of otheer monitor and controls options have been added for new hardware as well as older stuff like my windows8 PC running Windows 10.

If you find a better tool let me know as I tried them all and this is the best.

Uh... do you want to control all of your fans or just the fans from your AMD Polaris? because the BIOS settings won't be able to adjust the graphics card's fans speed, that's done via the Radeon software.

As with overclocking settings, there's no one size fits all when it comes to fan speed profiles, you could search for "the best fan curve ever" on the internet and apply it to your fans and it could be terrible, there are few things to consider when creating a profile: number of fans, their type (AF/SP) and size, RPM, case, air intake and exhaust, hardware and its temperature.

Well first of all you should undervolt as possible your Polaris Cards my RX 470 for example originally run 1226@1.081v now 1188@0.945v or 1226@0.980v and my Fan Profile is 35/60/70/80/100 for 40c/50c/60c/70c/75c here Brazil summer can be tough my room can reach 40c+ with that fan profile i can hold my GPU running under 70c even on hotter days (1226@0,980v) usally hit 70c more often.

After a long time weeks to months of coding in hex, I finally found the perfect fan profile. Just edit your max fan rpm in Polaris BIOS Editor & Your good to go.

Hello.
You tested your fan profile? I mean it was a thorough test?
As @s3ruX said, he live in Brazil, and the daily temp gives the need to have a good fan profile.
Usually when i make an OC profile, i set the fan RPM to max, so no need to think if you set it or not...max is max :)
But the question is : you obtained what you expected ?

Hello. Yes sir. It's absolutely perfect fan profile. It ramps up immediately under load & quiets down immediately after leaving load or soon after, after the vrm & hotspot cools down & core diode.

Fan Settings
search for these bytes:
01 17 00 00 02

In hxd search in hex these bytes above & select length 39 & copy these bytes & paste & save as new file "BIOS FAN PROFILE.rom". Open in Polaris BIOS Editor & Immediately save it again to fix the checksum. Then proceed to change the max fan rpm.
01 17 00 00 02 00 34 00 00 09 03 A0 0F 68 10 CC 10 D8 0E A0 0F 70 17 30 11 01 64 00 E4 12 F8 11 78 63 01 00 30 26 64 00 64 00 64 00 64 00 64 00 64 00 64 00 00 32 3C 00 00

You will need to determine your max fan rpm via HWINFO & AMD Wattman or MSI Afterburner or some such software to adjust the fan to full speed on your stock bios. Then change it in Polaris BIOS Editor, your max fan rpm.

Because my RX 560 had a 4600 rpm max rpm & my RX 480 has a 5200 rpm max rpm, it has to be changed.

What was the hex string (including the rpm) for 4600 ?

I recommend using this Polaris BIOS Editor Extended Edition instead of editing the hex. Just send me your BIOS if you don't feel comfortable editing it yourself. I just need to know your MAX RPM VALUE for your fan?

It was just for example. None of my cards have under 4600, so setting it to 4600 would work for all of them.
I can't send you my BIOS-es cause i have 47 :)
I wanted to have that BIOS for testing purposes.
And yes i am comfortable with editing. A bit lazy this days but... i will make a coffee :)
Thanks anyway for your good work

Your welcome. In particular all u need to change in hex is the Zero fan from 01 to 00 & thats it, the rest can be changed directly from Polaris BIOS Editor.

Which byte from the string you posted above is related to "enable" fan profile ? what pair should be changed from 01 to 00 ?

don't know why but when i edit my fan profile (via amd radeon sofware) and try some high rpm values i start getting gpu memory errors in hwinfo64 and i dont like it xD, the auto mode give me in games like the witcher 3/star wars bf II with the graphics settings all in ultra, temps 64~74c degrees after long gameplays like 4 hours i can get a max of ~82c dont know if that is normal or danger for my gpu... so i decided use a external program called FanCtrl v1.4.5 with a custom fan profile and the games run barely much better like max temp ~72c running without any feel of pain xD i can add i have two case fan below my gpu so they dissipate the accumulated heat.

If you wanna upload your GPU BIOS I know u will need to use this patcher after u install your drivers but its no big deal because having modded bios is the shiz-nit on Polaris.
I can apply my fan profile to your BIOS so it'll stay as cool as possible without needing to use software.

By the way I need to know your max fan rpm. Use a software to set to max & monitor it in HWINFO & Tell me the value.

Thanks

I found an issue where it took too long for the fan to spool up & spool down. Now it's fixed. Just change the max rpm for your fans max rpm value... test it, turn up your fan to the max using software & monitor the rpm in hwinfo & put that value into Polaris BIOS Editor.

FLASH IN SAFE MODE TO PREVENT BRICKING YOUR GPU IS MY ADVICE.

How did you manage to solve the problem of delay in increasing and slowing down the fans?

Co

Como você conseguiu resolver o problema da demora em aumentar e diminuir a velocidade dos ventiladores?
24000 fan sensitivity but it has to look like this to work properly. Set your Max RPM according to your GPU specifically. Define your max fan rpm.

It's absolutely perfect fan profile. It ramps up immediately under load & quiets down immediately after leaving load

I guess it is subjective, but for me it is important that speed changes gradually to be less of a distraction.

For maximum performance to keep the 84°C hotspot limit on everything in the temperature limits & 88°C shutdown for safety, from throttling, the fan needs to ramp immediately under load & its nice for it to quiet down immediately after leaving load.
