Anything specific you have in mind?
This will be a 'data hoarding' drive like the ones before so performance was secondary to me, I can only compare it to my previous HDDs before I remove them from my PC. :oops:

If it's a data hoarding drive, why don't you use it externally?

I'm also thinking about buying another 2.5" drive as the ones I have are starting to get full.

I don't like anything 'extra' on my desk and I actually need to have access to it any given time so I rather have it in my PC.

It has 733 days power on time, bought it a few years ago 'in 2018 I think' and according to HD Sentinel its at 100%. 'apparently all of my drives are 100%'

I have a i7 12700K and my motherboard came with a backplate, I didn't bother using that but my temps are good with my Noctua NH-U12A.

I just dusted out my case today with my air compressor.

I've never had an issue with my 12700k either. The 13900k has been fine as well with a normal delta between core temps at load. It's why I was lazy when putting the 13900 together and didn't install. I'm swapping to a different power supply this weekend so it'll all be torn apart anyway so I'll give it a go.

I like my wharfedale 9.1 speakers so decided to get some more.
Had to wire them in series due to them being 6 ohm and if i wired them in parralel the amp would think they were a 3 ohm load and this is not good for my amp lol.
Now they are wired in series the amp should see them as a 12 ohm load and my amp has no issues with that

Now i have it all setup i am loving the sound of things even more and after a few hours of playing music my amp didn't even break a sweat hehe.

Thank you for those tests, impressive performance for the SMR way of doing things; please report if you notice any slowdowns.
The new "shingled" way of writing data to a drive (SMR) can be much slower due to at least double work the drive has to do to achieve the same result and only to save on platters, not a good excuse.
I found with my experiments that if drives are properly cooled (with fans), they last great many years and an efficient way of writing and reading data (the good old CMR method) is desired.
Here's a good explanation how both work.
