You can, but it's not the easiest to implement. Access points might support it but I am not sure if consumer clients do.
All Intel WLAN cards that I know of from the last 5 years or so support 160 MHz channels and many phones and tablets do, too.

I mentioned this on SNB, but the Radix 6600 models shares PCB EE Design and layout with Synology RT6600AX.

Both are likely outsourced to a specific designer (Factory could be different). I actually asked Synology and they gave me a non answer more or less confirming that.

You should be a little clearer on what hardware you are using to test. Does the desktop/ laptop have an ax211 or ax411? What android phone are you using? Also a little skeptical on your 6GHz results.

Results are irrelevant regardless.

I've had notable "high end" routers in my home that perform worse than lower end configs with similar 4x4 radios when testing with the same clients/channels(unii1+3 + DFS)/settings.

Some routers just perform better in different home layouts, WIFI congestion, etc..

Any WIFI test should be taken with a grain of salt. It's very misleading in terms of what "works better".

Yes there is Merritt to higher MIMO configs performing better, but the top end 4x4 radio options are kinda RNG per environment (8x8 exist, but limited to a specific buggy QCA platform).

I've tested too way too many routers subjectively as a hobby lol

Is there a chance for router reviews to come back in the future? Been looking for a router and it seems that there aren't many websites that are trustworthy to the extent that TechPowerUp is. (It's either that or I have serious trust issues)

Depends on what companies decide to send out tbh. Most of the time it's the latest and most expensive ones, which don't always mean that's what the audience is looking for.

You can say that again. I literally do not understand the direction the manufactuers have gone in the last few years. If a WiFi router has an MSRP of $800, then it's still using a reference design, and about $100 of components and no R&D costs, as that's on Qualcomm, Realtek, etc.

I long for the days of a decent home WiFi router with the latest standards and whole home coverage for less than $200!
