A few good comments for troubleshooting from Jay's video.

If you are going to get another CPU, make sure it is a 500 series Pentium 4 (520, 530, 540 or 550). Those should be supported by the original BIOS.
What about this one Pentium 4 HT 630 SL8Q7

Compatible.
Thanks, Scotty :) Got it for my price of £2.15 so no loss if it does not get the board to work.:)I got the E7400 for my other MSI board which was £1.80. : Are old mate Phil
if I get the NEO board to work, I will go for 98se :) I must admit it is a long shot that it will work. I am hoping I can get one of them working, fingers crossed. It looks like the Pentium will be the first to arrive.

I am after getting another case. Why is that middle bar there? It is n the way, what purpose does it serve? There be enough room for the full-size 1060 3. It has been on F.B.M. for ages I am hoping I can knock the seller down by £5 to £15 it looks like a solid case .plus the fact it has the fans in there. It has been on there for 4 months. But sometimes they don,t bother taking it off there when it has been sold.

That looks like a mount for three fans. There's a matching rectangle with mesh in the side panel. It should have some really good airflow if you put more fans in it.
If it is still available, ask the seller to see if they have any extra un-used screws that may have come with it. (Might be in the little white box).

Thanks once again for your valuable advice:) Two fans are enough for me. :)I just messaged the guy, as he has had it on there so long there is no reason not to accept my offer. Unless he has sold it and not taken it off there .at lot of people who do that. It is on F.M.P.

Yup, see many people forget to remove listings from all sorts of platforms. Frustrating when you see a good deal & it was gone ages ago but still listed.

That Lian Li Al case doesn't look like it would get much airflow to a videocard.

It's not any more narrow than any other cases, it's 8 inches wide. But it is also 24 inches tall, and the extra height make it look thinner. Mine has a 360 radiator in the top panel (I drilled 3 120mm holes with a hole saw)and I drilled a bunch of smaller holes in the motherboard back-plate for wire management. I think I paid $50 for it back then, it was on clearance sale at Best Buy.

I'm guessing we think alike, why spend all sorts of money on a new case when you can make the old one work. :)

CoolerMaster CM690II Advanced,
Thats retro. Cool a 2.5 drive try on the top. :) This a good video new cases Retro ready modern cases.:)It must be a job to paint cases,i soppose the best way to do it is to spray it.
Most of the cases look old school in the video. :)

That could be the reason it looks narrower because it is taller than a lot of cases. What socket motherboard and other stuff do you have in it,Core2?I feel a bit of an idiot i went to pivk up the case, the number was not reconised i had to come home and found that i had left the last diget off .

Oldest case I have is a black SuperFlower SF-860B from around 2002 (this was the case style used by Alienware with the slide down front door before they used the Cheiftec Dragon style). Very cool case that I will eventually use to build/rebuild my home server in. Will post a pic of it when I get a chance

I have a modern AM4 system in there now - that's my main gaming PC. A Flight Sim 2020 & Assetto Corsa Competizione beast.

It originally had an LGA775 E8600 & X38 with HD3870 CrossfireX cards. Moved to LGA775 Q9650 & X48 with HD4870 also in CrossfireX. I blew up both of those cards in a benching competition. :( The CPUs were always watercooled & the case has no interior radiator mount, so it spent years with the side panel off to make room for the tubing. Here's an old pic (2012) with the 240 rad, pump & rez in a bucket on the case. I had an HD6950 after killing the HD4870s.

3 monitor.jpg

The next upgrade was to AMD AM3+, FX8320, Asus FX990 Sabertooth v2.0 & a GTX 970. I had to get a new waterblock for the CPU & replaced the 240 rad with a 360 while I was at it. I installed the rad in the case top panel. There's a 70mm hole behind the CPU area that had a thin 70mm fan to keep the back of the socket cool. The overclocked FX 83x0s were a bitch to cool. Mine ran 4.6 or 4.7GHz 24/7. It was a later batch & didn't clock as well as earlier versions.

The next system into that case is what's in there now - the R7-5800X3D rig :)

Is this lot worth £10 ? .I am real only interested in the soundcard his got that down for £2 Creative Sound Card. The board is £5
Asus A7N8X Motherboard Including Ram and processor. Hard disk available, £3. Power Supply: £5 Motherboard has graphic card included. Good for IOT tasks. I used it for research purposes. Working fine, now mostly use raspberry pi so not required. All that for £10 i asked him what cpu it has but he did not know.As you all know i have a Athlon 2400 PC chances it had the same cpu in there. And this old gpu thrown in it looks like it is out of the ark/:D
