I'd forgotten just how good both of The Division games are and perfectly playable as single player. They are very slick and also beautiful to look at.
My favourite enemies are the cleaners because a couple of carefully aimed shots at the fuel tanks on their backs creates a hilarious panic, until it's too late.

The Division still looks mental, tbh, it makes you wonder WTF is happening in the RT-age. Single player campaign thing up to max level is also a pretty good ride imho... That game nailed so much in so many ways...

I kept switching RT on and off in Control today, and try to find the differences, but honestly, I needed a magnifying glass and lots of optimism to really see them. The overwhelming majority, even its reflections, are in fact rasterized - even if they're dynamic. RT off, the flag in the reception hall, first scene, will dynamically reflect its physics/movement on the floor just the same.

The Division proves a lot of the same points - there is so much happening on screen, with weather, debris and snow flying around, and it all just looks perfect; including perfect screen space reflections.

In this Month's Humble Choice the Highlight is Death Stranding. The other Gem though is Aliens Fire Team Elite. Wow, all I can say is the tension in the Game is real. I would post a pic but I am busy enjoying the hell out of Project Cars 2. I just finished the Lamborghini series and now I am doing LMP3 Asian Series at Bathurst.

Yes, they do look mental and insanely detailed too. I like all the background chatter as well because you really get a sense of being there.
As for performance, my rig handles both games perfectly and crashes are rare and only because of the 5700 drivers.
If you play Warlords Of New York DLC in Division 2, which is excellent by the way, you can't go back to DC until you finish all the DLC missions. Talking of which, I get the impression that the New York settings - Battery Park, Castle Clinton etc - are homages to Deus Ex, in a way.

Fantastic game, I played it through last year and still fire it up every once in a while to just bask in the beauty and fun combat. I tried it for about 20-30 minutes on a Playstation once, but the MOMENT they announced it for PC? That was done (don't like the controllee that much anyway), I played it with the same frames like you at about 100-120fps at all times.

Tried it with my 4090 locked at 162Hz (max is 165Hz but I limit it a pinch with gsync)...man, that game is just utterly ridiculously lovely. It feels INCREDIBLE!

I hope you enjoy the hell out of it!

I actually enjoyed being in that world so much so.......that I didn't use fast travel even one time, and I played it for 73 hours total lol. (I think I finished the game with 69 hours in)

it took me about 20 tries, but I finally beat the last mission on Dishonored on Steam Deck 10/10 game. 11/10 on Deck the audio is insane on Deck.

i'm in so much pain at the moment its unbelievable, so being able to be in bed with heat pad and steam deck has been nice

If I didn't know any better, I'd think you were calling the Deck a heat pad. (Isn't it one, though?)

mine doesn't get hot at all, I even ran of God of War on it and the fans didn't even get loud. i think newer models like mine are built a lot better than older ones.

While it was still on sale I picked up Fortune Island DLC in Forza Horizon 4. After dinking around there for a bit I came back and started working off some nerves in something just a bit less twitchy than a hypercar.

I'm playing my GOG version of HZD on about 4 different machines (completed it already on one a while ago but still have some side quests to clean up). So at 4 different places in the story but it doesn't matter because this game is so fun to play and look at. And like Kei said you don't fast travel in this game, instead enjoy the scenery and combat/stealth on the way. I find new spots on the map in each play, now that's great game design.

Hardware note: a Ryzen 1200 OC to 3.8GHz is not enough in big bot+human firefights to keep your FPS above 30 with 100% usage (first Corruptor fight). A 1600AF is much better and a 4790 does OK with mins in the 40s, which is a big improvement. I assume a 4590 would be the same as the 1200 and I have one but haven't tested yet.

Funny how that game does that, when I finally upgraded from my RX 570 4GB to my GTX 1070 Horizon was the first game I went to play. 'it did not play nice with my 570 at all so I waited almost 1 year till I could upgrade and play it for real..'
The game ran surprisingly well on my at the time 1600x/1070 system with decent settings too, no crashes or bad stutters to speak of so a good experience in general and the game was well worth to play. 'I did read everything lore related stuff I managed to find and took my time with the game'
Now in the waiting room for Forbidden West.

before I start Dishonored 2, decided to give Titanfall 2 another round since I love that game... came across this gem I thought worth sharing

*eats popcorn*

Yeah that game looks all over the place, tried it today and while certain parts at the start of the game did look decent in overall its nothing special while it doesn't exactly run good either.
Titanfall 2 is a good pick, stupid fun single player campaign.
Its also on my one day play again list for sure.:) 'played it like 6 years ago on my old GTX 950 system and even on that it was fine on 1080p'

While it was still on sale I picked up Fortune Island DLC in Forza Horizon 4. After dinking around there for a bit I came back and started working off some nerves in something just a bit less twitchy than a hypercar.

You got me back onto Forza Horizon 5 and I bought a Hoonigan Escort Cosworth which cleared all my credit. Fine looking game, loads of fun and I'm thinking of getting the Hot Wheels expansion which is great on FH3.
Very picturesque in Mexico!
