From 6600+ on an Intel system you get such diminishing returns that it's not even worth it, and the same is true on AMD from 6000+ (and on a 7800X3D system paired with 6000Mhz memory an intel system even with the fastest ram cant compensate), so who is buying all these super expensive kits and what are the buying them for other than ego?

Translation: Because I personally don't see the need for this in my specific use cases, it isn't worth it for anyone else.

As long as the mobo manufacturer didn't mess up the memory trace layout, then the limiting factor is going to be the CPU's memory controller.

I thought B760 had limitations on memory overclocking (apart from the locked multiplier on the CPU).

Maybe their PR is based both on a quite fast frequency with a quite low CL.
