Upgraded my OS drive today, and did a clean install of Windows.

Went with Crucial T700 NVMe M.2 SSD.

The main reason I upgraded my OS drive was motherboard temps, I was using Samsung 990 Pro drive in M.2_1 slot which is above the top PCIe x16 slot. The Samsung drive ran very hot,.. even @ idle the temps were mid 40 to 45c with factory pads, heatsink. Having this hot drive next to GPU, CPU, and PCH was soaking my motherboard PCB with heat.

I swapped out the factory thermal pads on the Asus 5.0 AIC with Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad 8, Kryonaut grease, the 1.5mm pads worked very well.

Crucial T700 drive temps under heavy load in Asus AIC, TG pads.

I didn't like that the wrist rests I'd gotten didn't match my desktop mouse mat, I'd swapped to a black oversized mat, the colorful one I had before looked kinda 'busy'. Made everything looked so...messy, so I decided to get a set of new mousepad and keyboard wrist rest. Oh yeah, that Bose Soundlink Mini's for when I surf the net, and watch Youtube vids and such. I'd gotten it about 2 years or so back, I'm surprised that it actually sounds pretty good, does a great job for online vids and music.

Specs alone say it must be really nice performance wise, and the GT interior is the top of the line... I'm not a fan of FF cars, so the Stinger GT2 would be my choice, too bad there is no estate variant.

Yeah they had a limited edition anniversary stinger but I wasn't game to pay 85K for it but it was very nice indeed i spent 10 mins drooling over it

Oh I'm very happy with it indeed it's a sweet drive and so far I'm lovin it compared to my 2005 Ford Focus which is still a good car but it has 283K on the clock now so it was definitely time for an upgrade

Not really an tech upgrade, but since I can play more recent titles with the new rig (which are bigger in size), I cant be waiting 10-12 hours for the downloads to finish like I did with Battlefield 4. So I upgraded my internet.

I looked online and there was nowhere one on sale, only the non polycarbonate version.

Guess most of them already ended up in the trash and those lucky ones who still own one keep them forever. Wasn't it also a pretty limited produced drive?

Finally found a hardcase for my 4.6L Lone L5 PC. Condition1 seems to be an American manufacturer mainly after gun cases, which is fine by me as pistol cases are well-sized for my L5.

I was previously looking at Nanuk 915 and Pelican 1400, but neither are as good a fit for 9.5" x 9" x 3.75" as the Condition1 14" (12.27" X 9.27" X 5.23"). Probably can't fit as many other stuff anymore (mouse, Xbox controller), but I'll gladly take the protection.
