AKG 702 open box from Amazon Warehouse £85/$85, bought to return as impulse/nostalgic buy as I owned some 701's years ago, shouldn't have opened them and tested them though

might hold off on the return for now, they sound bloody gorgeous and that's only running them through my motherboards onboard audio, I do have an amp but only has 1x 3.5m jack for input and no headphone jack, they will surely shine under an amp, difference between them and my Amazon branded BT commuter headphones is night and day though :respect:

I always regretted selling my K7xx from AKG, very unique sound, and super comfy. lol

Apparently not much difference between the 701/702, but I was surprised by how friggin huge the ear cups were, was 10 years ago at least I had the 701's so obviously my memory is different to the reality, didn't remember them like that, but they are very light and sound amazing and unedited/natural? I'm no audiophile so you will have to excuse my basic description of how "nice" they sound, I guess natural sounding and clear with no distortion would be a fair comment, I love the sound of them

So I've ordered the following;

Couldn't find this Silver model stateside so I decided to take a chance on AliExpress(yes, I know, it's foolishness, but they have come a long way lately). It's Redragon's own store so It seemed a reasonably safe offer. It's on the way and should be here in a week.

Now before anyone asks why I don't just get the black Horus model, no. I'm done with dark coloured peripherals. Light coloured or nothing at all.

Will chime in when it arrives and let you all know how it goes. There was also the Red switch version( https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804462872149.html ), but the blue switch version was on sale. I've seen that the low-profile blues are not as loud as normal version so I think I'll be ok with it.

This is the 90% offering with Red switches. I intend on stripping the black paint off the metal chassis housing and using all white keycaps that this keyboard comes with. Will chime in about this one as well when it arrives. Will make a post over in the Ghetto Mods thread when I'm done modding it.

3D Printers needs to be feeded...

I guess that 12 sticks are enough. They are well selected. USB 2.0 with 32GB. Otherwise some 3D Printers get problems.

alcohol is bad and is what attracts moisture and makes ethanol blended fuels go bad over time

Not really, $27 for 5L of lab grade (99.7% pure). A liter of it costs less than a 0.5L bottle of vodka. Price only skyrocketed during COVID because of supply issues when it was widely used everywhere.
