Benchmark Scores bench...mark? i do leave mark on bench sometime, to remember which one is the most comfortable. :o
nice!!

Is it so hard for AMD to just print or slap on a sticker on the front showing the SKU stats. I had to look twice to figure out its an APU
uh.jpg
it was pretty clear for me, although figuring if it was a 5600G or a 5700G, if it was not precised by Psychoholic, yeah
(the SKU sticker is on the top, tho)

downgrading my phone case? well, yeah ... but it's for an homage
20240323_082535.jpg
surprisingly not bad, about 2mm added height front over the screen (with screen protector 1mm) the material is not bad at all and the print is flawless ...

now, i don't mean to screw around ... but when your el cheapo screw come in looking like an engagement ring ... you know it mean business
20240323_082448.jpg20240323_082502.jpg

seem good quality, but the question everyone is waiting... "was it worth... the... "RISK"?" at 2$, i think so ...

so, for my nephew build ... slowly gathering the hardware ...
ok, stickers? well
View attachment 339664View attachment 339665View attachment 339666

i find them fitting since he learn programing and other related stuff ... but ~200 stickers are a bit too much, i will keep some for me

and to reach the free shipping thershold i decided to get a POS smartwatch ... (well stickers at max 1$ a pack ... do not reach a 9$ free shipping thershold hehe :D )

not so POS in the end ... i like it, as a backup to my T-Rex 2 ... HR/SpO2 and even blood pressure are measured quite accurately compared to dedicated measuring aparatus (+/-2-5% which is not bad at all) sleep monitoring too ... only cons would be : IP67 (but it has microphone and speaker, which explain the rating and can act as a handsfree device) and only 2 buttons on the right side (tho even if my T-Rex 2 has 4 buttons i only really use 2... the one on the right side  ) ah and the seller : "Zinc Alloy MIL-STD 810H watch" ... aherm ... respectfully "my shinny bottom!" i saw youtuber/reviewer featuring that KR80 watch in durability test, well, it can take a beating but nah it's probably not MIL-STD certified (and plastic built not zinc alloy) nonetheless for 20chf ..., if it does not suffer the 1* reviews dreaded "do not work anymore" or "screen got artifacting" in the next 2 months ... i'm ok with it ...

ah, oh my ... thanks STEAM spring sale ...
View attachment 339670View attachment 339671

i had the Switch version wishlisted since quite a while (well, it's the game that almost made me buy a Switch lite  ) ... but i did not know it was on STEAM  now i know and 23chf, for a game based of one of my favorite manga? ohhhhh...
That watch looks cool! :)

Just got this old but high end Arcam DV79 DVD player, it's a great DVD player and a pretty good CD player too.

I would strongly recommend not sinking the front end into the pile of a rug with all else on a soft surface.

Get creative if you need to. I've used the base of an old 32" tv. Which ended up looking worlds better than basically anything I would've ever considered.

It's not as bad as it looks, the feet are on the carpet (concrete underneath) so it has got a firm support under it. It does sound pretty damn good as a CD though, and i'm sure it would take a good £500 cd player to sound as good as this does.

The bolt holding my bike saddle broke, so getting the right replacement seems a big deal to me.

I was lucky that it snapped right when reaching home, and no other parts were lost.

Simply reminding you feet exist to promote air flow underneath and around. They also work better on a flat solid surface that equally dissipates/mitigates vibration.

This is not the place to get into technical critique, but I think you did pretty OK. :)

damn you have a good taste. nice color wood, neat mouse pad, etc. very clean and minimalist. I like that, but I fail at pulling it off lol

I can never leave wired though, just dealing with charging would be annoying to me

Thanks. The wood was raw birch that I stained in ebony and coated with a clear satin. I'm just glad the mouse comes in black since the original wired version came with accents in Corsair yellow. I'm half tempted to make the bezel on my main monitor and microphone match, but that would require disassembly that might possibly damage something.

seeeeee, you reacted like i did to a bait ;) (well at least i suppose it was a bait .. because the "Radeon Graphic Built-in" was just as obvious as the 7 ;) ) if not ... well mine was a bait ;)
joking .... i had a "tunnel-vision" on the top right corner ... my bad

well i always look at the reviews, it it get more than 1/10 of the reviews bellow 3* i tend to avoid, the non-black one i have right now with the carbon cap came from the same place, the saddle clamp also come from AE/Temu and is on her 6th month :)

That watch looks cool! :)
yeah she do and still holding quite good, since the model got some bad review about the screen artifacting as mentioned if it hold with my daily usage till at least 2 month it would just mean "inadequate usage scenario" from the "afflicted"

when 1.2v NiMh are not enough ... i tested my Eneloop and Goal Zero in the walkman, even full charge did not start (i expected that a bit ;) ) but standard AA did work so, time to get something off my wishlist, now that i have a need for them

1.5v Li-ion AA Verico LoopEnergy 1700mAh/2550mWh USB-C accu

if needed, taking a second duo pack is cheaper than gettin a quad  19.80chf duo, 41chf quad... hilarious

I've always wanted to try a non-standard size keyboard like the cool kids use, but can't live without a num. pad. I needed a spare keyboard for bench work and this was on sale for $31 this week at Amazon so I guess it was meant to be. RGB backlit and red switches. Now I need to find out if I can type on it.

probably Redragon own switches, not sure who's their OEM tho

which would be my choice for my Thock 75% later ... since they are box type (the Khailh box black are good but i might want to "switch" to tactil later and Redragon switches are 9.90chf a 100 pack )
and they seems not bad at all even at such low price

which would be my choice for my Thock 75% later ... since they are box type (the Khailh box black are good but i might want to "switch" to tactil later and Redragon switches are 9.90chf a 100 pack )
and they seems not bad at all even at such low price
They look like Outemu switches.

probably, if so, well that's a good news, Outemu are good, from what i heard
Hmm... I don't know about box-type Outemus, but their standard Cherry-like switches had a massive quality drop from when Redragon first appeared in the Brazilian market. Especially their blues.

i5 12400F & B660M MB to complete a little Test Bench for my A750 LE I have had since launch (It doesn't play well in a virtual machine with no Re-Bar).

Added a hilariously overkill NH-D14 along with the spare components I had lying around (only needed the MB & CPU) and its making for a nice little system. Completely silent outside of gaming where the PSU coil whine becomes noticeable.

Oh and seeing 100% CPU usage when download a game in Steam is funny. Wondering why I wasn't getting over 100MB/s (900Mb sequential fiber) and its down to the CPU.

I know team blue and all that but you might wanna adjust the white balance on that display :D
could be his phone camera. Maybe he is using warm lighting in his room, and so the camera compensates and makes screens blue-er. happens to me too.
