Very cool!! That is only the second one I have ever seen - I have one as well!
Its super interesting that yours appears to be 55nm and have 6+8 pin power connector, yet mine is 65nm and only has 6+6.
mine is 65nm and has display port out.
Kind of like an early GTX275 when you think about it. fully enabled set of cuda cores, but same memory config as a normal gtx260.

gtx260 es c240 crysis runs 10700k 5ghz.png

Behold, maybe the one and only RTX3050 Super!

photo_2024-05-06_19-26-26 (2).jpg photo_2024-05-06_19-26-25 (3).jpg photo_2024-05-06_19-26-25 (2).jpg

And Windows with GPUz also recognize it as RTX3050 Super. So, what do we have here:

GPUz.png

And actually we have here RTX3060 with fully enabled shaders (3840 vs 3584), it's like a laptop RTX3060M, but with 12Gb of GDDR6 memory instead of 6Gb. Card is fully working in general, but somehow there is a problem in compatibility with modern computers and with UEFI BIOS particularly. This videocard perfectly works as a part of old AM3 and LGA 1366 X58 systems, but has issues with modern AM4 and LGA1200 (computer reboots constantly within 2 seconds after start, even with iGPU as main display output). Unfortunately I don't know why, card looks like new and I even flashed it with retail RTX3060 BIOS - nothing changed, except that there were some graphical artifacts on a screen, so I flashed it back. Here are some benchmarks:

@erek Photo is taken from yjfy.com and owner of the card from photo counts it as quote:

2.1.4.1 Voodoo4 4500 Engineering sample

PCB DATE 3000WEEKS

And it's the same like the one in ebay listing.

Hello again everyone, I've been kind of in stealth mode the last few years watching this amazing thread and slowly growing the collection while primarily focusing on other hobbies. Recently I kind of got the bug again and started playing around more with some of my 98 and XP systems.

For those who remember me I am interested in the development of coolers and got into high end PC gaming at the start of the DX9 era so the wackiness of the FX series in cooler design and colors really speaks to me even though I was fully on the ATi train at that time.

Here is my collection of high end FX cards that had wacky coolers. I'm missing some of the mid range ones (most of the strange mid range ones are found on the FX 5700 series) but after inventorying my collection this week I'm not sure how much more I want to add as its grown quite large over the last decade.

The Albatron wise is just nuts with its backup fan which only spins if one of the other fans stall. Many of the cards feature two pin fans that just run at max speed and its odd to see a red nVidia card. Truly a fun era.
