Logitech G403 Prodigy Wireless, so probably it's newer iterations. Btw kinda similar school like this Microsoft: asymetric and getting wider on the top (to me a must).

It was the first mouse to never tire my hand even a little, however long and intensive sessions. I love the shape and it being heavier mouse. Cable is nice too - helpful with rails plus sleeved and slick, so you barely feel it plugged when there's need to charge. Or I would say you don't feel it if don't focus on it - so many times I forgot to unplug it and used it like that for a day o two. It's also customizable via Logitech's software and has option to store your settings in built-in profile, so you don't need to have this bloatware running in the background or mouse works the same with any other pc. Good thing is (programable) DPI changing button below scroll - so many times it came in handy during irritating minigames. Few monts ago my unit started eight year of flawless service. Everything works fine, but obviously battery degraded - I must charge it every two or three days. Probably there're replacements on Ali, new sliders likely would make a difference too, but still don't care.

Best mouse for gaming is probably any symmetrical simple and fast mice like the razer viper I have. It could be the Logitech g pro if it didn’t have double clicking issues.

For work, I’ve been using the MX Master (the first one) since it released and I don’t think I like anything else past with one exception.
I tried the vertical one, it felt weird but I think it could be the best ever for work if someone gets used to it.

My favorites:

Mx1000 laser, m500 Corded and MX Ergo Trackball mouse. The last 2 i use daily. The Trackball at the HTPC. I also had a G9x at 1 time. Dont know the brand anymore.... Also Logitech or maybe Corsair?

I'd say for me that would be Logitech M705. The original release, as they are still selling it, but it's no longer the same mouse. For the money, and I heavily stress that for the money that is IMO the best productivity mouse. That thumb button is SO good for assigning a function, especially for graphic work... Love this mouse.

I loved my Razer Copperhead. It doesn't work anymore, but when I grab it - still the best symmetrical shape for me, fits like a glove. Was always bewildering to me that they reissued Krait and Diamondback and keep producing Deathadder but Copperhead was never reintroduced. I'd grab one in a heartbeat even knowing their software is shit.

MX518. Got the OG model when I bought a random box of parts from my online buddy.

I have a G400s on my 2nd PC and the MX518 remake and I love all of these.

Logitech 3-button M-S35 with ball. :)
I have one ball mouse on my closet as well. Hella nostalgic when using that when I play with a P4 rig. :toast:

My Logitech G102 which was supposedly the best bang for the buck mouse at the time of my purchase, completely died on me in less than a half year which pissed me off so much that I've never bought another mouse from them.. 'I even had spare pads and whatnot cause I was expecting it to last..'
So I've went back to experimenting with less popular/known and cheaper brands like I've used to in the past and that worked out for me.
I've been using this Canyon Puncher GM 20 for 2 and half years now and its still working just fine and for my hand its extremely comfortable, probably the best mouse I've ever used:
https://gaming.canyon.eu/product/cnd-sgm20b/

The cable is also really nice, its so damn flexible and light that I hardly notice that its even there.
Tbh I'm considering on buying a backup just in case this one bites the dust and even if it does it well payed for its price already. 'btw I don't play competitive games so this is plenty enough for me'

Personally I haven't had any bad experience from Logitech, though my old G400 died but I got a G400s from warranty. That's still a working mouse even after a decade, only the surface is hella worn but that's just a cosmetic flaw. :p

If I'm gonna say what's the best mouse I've ever had, it'd be my current Razer Viper Pro.

If I'd have to vote for the best mouse ever, I'd say the MS IntelliMouse Explorer. It redefined mouse ergonomics and was copied to no end by everybody else.

Mx1000 laser

Had one back in 2004 when it just came out.
Nice one, but heavy and caused me some wrist discomfort when using it more than 12+ hours a day.

MSIE 3.0 best mouse for its era and still is ... gave a lot of competition "layer" to Counter-Strike.
after MSIE 3.0 i went to MX510, then G400s ... for now im using Roccat Nyth.
I love my G600 MMO, but the laser/optic is awfull compared to G400s and Nyth.
yeah ...big mouse is the way

Been buying Logitech wireless and mostly laser mice since 2004.
The only laser mouse I've had was the original one-button version of G5 back in the day. Personally I didn't see any differences between that and optical mice.

The one and only true mouse is G502 Hero, perhaps others variants are as good, but the newest is soo bad i returned it asap.

Oh, and the wheel... the wheel guys, it's unlockable and i use it so often (unlock/re-lock), this tech should be on every mouse.

//

The mouses i buyed at lower price (promo) have always had bad working wheel btw, beware it looks their way to sell them asap.

No matter how good mouse they can make (or have made?), when you put it in a dirty, dusty environment, it becomes an awful experience.
I think the best mouse doesn't exist.

They need to innovate something that doesn't touch the dirty tables/desks.

Or people could just keep their immediate environment clean?

An air purifier, good personal hygiene/habits and some regular cleaning goes a long way not just for your hardware but also for your body.

Thoughts reader :D or something isolated from the dust, or something that performs the same no matter the dirt particles on the surface it touches, and its teflon legs :D

Impossible, because even slightly moist hands leave such traces... that you don't want to see what happens under the mouse...
